Cordoba
Mosque near GROUND ZERO
YOU have a task. You must make sure that everyone you know also knows what you have
come, slowly, and with effort, to understand about the Total Belief-System of Islam, and that those others, in turn,
having properly informed themselves, will begin to inform, and alarm, still
others. Our government is not helping. Those who think they know better have so
far proven that they are far behind many whom they presume to instruct and
protect; they are not helping.
So it's up to you. It's all up to you.
And if you do not accept this task, in the United States, in Canada,
in Australia, in the countries of Western Europe, then -- I'm afraid --
"it's over."
This
country was founded on Christian
Principals. We were given certain
unalienable rights, in the Constitution, under declaration of Rights, one is
freedom of speech. That doesn’t say you
can insight riots, cause harm to another, it says you can speak your mind
without repercussions.
Article 5, section 7. Every person may freely speak, write and
publish his opinions on all subjects, being responsible for the abuse of that
liberty; and no law shall be passed to restrain or abridge the liberty of
speech or of the press.
Article 5, section 4. All
persons have a natural and indefusable right to “worship god” according to the
dictates of your own conscience. No
person shall be compelled to attend, erect or support any place of
worship. You do not have the “right” to a Mosque to be placed at
Ground Zero as has been stated in the news.
Anger and
intolerance are the enemies of correct understanding
Our
current President Barry Soetoro/Barrack Hussein Obama, once was a Muslim, he is
now what Islamic law calls a murtadd (apostate), an ex-Muslim converted to
another religion who must be executed. He was elected President of the United
States, this status, clearly, would have large potential implications for his relationship with the Muslim world.
Obama
was an irregularly practicing Muslim who rarely or occasionally prayed with his
step-father in a mosque and went to a Muslim school in Jakarta. Obama worships at a Unitarian Church because
it represents the middle ground between Christianity and Islam.
In an
interview with Laura Haim on Canal Plus, a French television station, Mr. Obama noted that the United States
also could be considered as “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.”
There are reasons why
there should not be a Mosque built
on Ground Zero.
This
country was attacked by a series of
coordinated suicide attacks by al-Qaeda **. The death toll of the attacks was 2,995,
including the 19 hijackers. The
overwhelming majority of casualties were civilians, including nationals of over 70 countries. The United States also enacted the USA
PATRIOT Act.
Many other countries also strengthened their
anti-terrorism legislation and expanded law enforcement powers. Al-Qaeda is an EXTREME Militant Islamic Group, which revolves around their
interpretation of Jihad, which is a religious duty of Muslims, and interpret
Jihad as the struggle in a holy war and to rid the world of
INFIDELS. YOU ARE CONSIDERED AN INFADEL
IF YOU ARE NOT of their faith and beliefs
WHY, would this country, who was
attacked by this extremist group put up a Mosque? A mosque is a place
of worship for followers of Islam. This would defile every person that died in
that terrorist act, by the act or the
protection of this country. It would be
a slap to every citizen in this country.

Another reason to watch what is given to this religious belief,
Islam/Muslim:
By Nonie
Darwish
Author
and lecturer Nonie Darwish states the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping
Western law and liberty in two. Seems they are succeeding in doing that.
She
recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global
Implications of Islamic Law. Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her
childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was
eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel. He was
a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza.
Omar M. Ahmad founder of CAIR said:
"Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become
dominant" he said. "The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should
be the highest authority in America , and Islam the only accepted religion on
Earth," he said.

** Al-Qaeda (pronounced /ælˈkaɪdə/ al-KYE-də or /ælˈkeɪdə/ al-KAY-də; Arabic: القاعدة, al-qāʿidah, "the base"),
alternatively spelled al-Qaida and sometimes al-Qa'ida, is a
militant Islamist
group founded sometime between August 1988[6]
and late 1989.[7]
It operates as a network comprising both a multinational, stateless arm[8] and a
fundamentalist Sunni movement calling for global Jihad. It is widely
considered a terrorist
organization.
** Jihad
(pronounced /dʒɪˈhɑːd/; Arabic: جهاد [dʒiˈhæːd]), an Islamic term, is a religious duty
of Muslims. In Arabic,
the word jihād is a noun meaning "struggle." Jihad
appears frequently in the Qur'an and common usage as the idiomatic expression
"striving in the way of Allah (al-jihad fi sabil Allah)". A person
engaged in jihad is called a mujahid; the plural is mujahideen. Jihad is an important religious duty for
Muslims.
A wide range of
opinions exist about the exact meaning of jihad. Muslims use the word in a religious context
to refer to three types of struggles: an internal struggle to maintain faith,
the struggle to improve the Muslim society, or the struggle in a holy war. The differences of opinion are the result of
different interpretation of the two most important sources in Islam, the Qur'an and the ahadith
(singular: hadith). For example, the
prominent orientalist Bernard
Lewis argues that, in the Qur'an and the ahadith jihad implies
warfare in the large majority of cases.
In a commentary of the hadith Sahih
Muslim, entitled al-Minhaj, the medieval Islamic scholar Yahya ibn Sharaf al-Nawawi stated that
"one of the collective duties of the community as a whole (fard kifaya) is
to lodge a valid protest, to solve problems of religion, to have knowledge of
Divine Law, to command what is right and forbid wrong conduct".
In western
societies the term jihad is
often translated as "holy war".
Muslim authors tend to reject such an approach, stressing non-militant
connotations of the word. In technical
literature, the term "holy war" is often used to describe jihad. However, scholars of islamic
studies often stress that both words are not synonymous.

photoshops about his ideological opponents, and who once fooled a whole passel of rubes
at spitblogger Dean Esmay's site by claiming that my use of the standard and
ordinary Arabic transliteration of my name was a ludicrous error,
has now published a supposedly frank, open, and honest discussion of the plans
for the Islamic supremacist mega-mosque at Ground Zero with Sharif El-Gamal
(pictured above at Tuesday's hearing of Manhattan's Community Board 1), the
multimillionaire who owns the property. As might be expected, El-Gamal's
answers fall significantly short of actually being frank, open, and honest.
"Q&A
with Sharif el-Gamal about Park 51, NYC," by Aziz Poonawalla at BeliefNet, July 24:
As
promised earlier in the week, here are the interview questions and answers from
Sharif el-Gamal, CEO of SoHo Properties
and lead developer of the Park 51 project, Cordoba Mosque. I am sincerely
grateful to Sharif for taking the time to answer these questions and speak
directly to the broader Muslim community.
1. Q - How will you use this center to promote
good citizenship and American values? What are the specific American values you
seek to promote?
A - Park51
will be a community center promoting tolerance and understanding through three
types of programs: arts and culture, education and recreation. We'll offer all
New Yorkers valuable services, world-class facilities and empowering
opportunities to learn more about the world around us and about each other.
What's more American than serving others?
Swell! But self-consciously over-the-top in
its swellness. After all the anger and pain that the plan for this mega-mosque
has aroused in 9/11 families and others, for El-Gamal to be nattering blandly
about "serving others" as if he and the Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf just
got back from a meeting of their Boy Scout Troop is disingenuous, to say the least.
If this initiative is really all about serving others, what about serving those
who oppose it by showing even the tiniest modicum of good will toward them,
instead of vilifying and smearing them and dismissing their legitimate
objections as "hatred" and "bigotry"? Is Sharif El-Gamal
capable of even the smallest acknowledgment that he understands the pain that
this mega-mosque is causing, and is willing to accommodate it in some way? Or
is he only interested in "serving" his own constituency?
Because
New York City is a global city, and New Yorkers come from all parts of the
world, we need the kind of community center that our economy and cultural
diversity demand. It's about fulfilling a need, meeting demand and looking to
the future. I think that's a very American attitude. I know it's something I
believe in very much. If we do something, we want to be the best at it, and
we're always looking ahead.
If you look at a map of Manhattan, most of our major cultural and
community centers are north of Houston. For the past two decades, New York City
has become an increasingly attractive place to live. That's a great thing for
the city. But, for more people to move into lower Manhattan, they have to have
the right services. That's our contribution to Manhattan and the city. By
serving all types of New Yorkers, we're doing our part as Americans to make our
city and country stronger and safer.
Again, that all sounds really swell. But
recall that Poonawalla asked El-Gamal how the mosque would promote "good
citizenship and American values," and asked him which "specific
American values" the mosque would promote. In response, "serving
others" was about as specific as El-Gamal could get.
He had an opportunity to say that the Ground
Zero mosque would institute programs to teach Muslims the virtues of American
principles that contradict Sharia, such as the freedom of speech and the
equality of rights of all people before the law. He could have said that the
mosque would teach Muslims the virtues of the Constitutional principle of the
non-establishment of religion, as opposed to the theocratic autocracy
prescribed by Sharia. He could have said that the mosque would teach that
apostates from Islam should not be killed, but should be allowed to exercise
their conscience without interference.
He could have said all that and more.
Instead, he murmured sweet nothings about "serving others."
2. Q - Why must the project necessarily include a mosque? Wouldn't a general
prayer area, which could be reserved in advance by any religious group, be more
appropriate and compatible with the community-centric interfaith mission of the
project?
A - We will include a September 11th
memorial and quiet reflection space where people of different faith traditions
and beliefs, sacred and secular, can find quiet time and solace. Park51 will
also include general spaces and world-class facilities for all New Yorkers to
benefit from, whether that's a Hebrew class meeting weekly or a yoga studio
looking for space on a regular basis. We'll have an auditorium to engage large
audiences, and sophisticated classroom space as well.
With respect to the mosque, which will take up only a small
portion of the final space, it's a question of meeting a need. This mosque will
be open to all. There are probably one million Muslims in the tri-state area
and several hundred thousand in New York City. We should understand that Muslim
New Yorkers are part of the city and have been for a very long time. Just a few
days ago, I stopped to pray at a midtown mosque, and the congregation was led
by a New York City Police Officer. He was a Muslim serving our city, keeping us
safe.
There's hundreds of thousands of Muslim New Yorkers like him.
We're doctors, lawyers, businessmen, cab drivers, teachers and students. That's
what people need to know.
Yes,
but the question was why
must the project necessarily include a mosque? There is no other available real estate in Manhattan to meet this
need? The mosque organizers veer back and forth from claiming that they just
happened upon this property and their initiative has nothing to do with 9/11,
and is several blocks (actually, just around a corner) from Ground Zero, to
assuming that it has everything to do with 9/11 and that they're trying to send
a "positive message" that "reverses" that of the attacks.
But they can't have it both ways.
3. Q -
Some of Imam Feisal's past statements [1,2] have been used by critics to
undermine the project's credibility. Can Imam Feisal clarify his views on
terrorism to reassure New Yorkers he understands the moral weight of the
tragedy of 9-11?
A - Imam
Feisal has been a champion of pluralism and tolerance. He fully understands the
enormity of 9-11. In fact his own congregation was only blocks away from Ground
Zero. He works very hard, day in and day out, to fight extremism and
radicalism.
Actually,
Rauf is an opening proponent of Sharia who actually calls for restrictions on
the freedom of speech in his book, What's
Right with Islam Is What's Right with America.
More to
the point, this is going to be a community center. Park51 is not a political
organization. We do not have a political agenda, and we will be open to all New
Yorkers. What we do not have room for are extremist views and opinions. Radical
and hateful agendas will have no place in our community center or in the
mosque. We are building this center for New York City, because we're New
Yorkers. We're Americans. We have families here and futures here.
Define
"radical" and "hateful? " Is advocating for the rule of
Islamic law "radical" and "hateful"? Given Rauf's writings,
this is a very important question.
On
September 11, 2001, I went down to the site of the attacks and spent two days
handing out water to first responders and other victims. Hundreds of Muslims
died on that day. New Yorkers of all faiths and no faiths died together. There
are also hundreds of Muslims in our police force and fire department and many
Muslims who volunteered to help the injured and the hurt. One of my close
friends, a Muslim and a New Yorker, headed down to Ground Zero after the attacks,
and helped set up a triage.
She was buried in the rubble when the towers collapsed, but she
was dug out, thank God, and went right back to work. We understand the horror
of that day because we lived it. Terrorists attacked our city and our country,
and terrorists have continued to threaten our city and our country. We're proud
of the many Muslims who have worked with our fellow Americans to keep our city
and country safe.
Does
anyone know who he might be talking about? The story doesn't ring true to me,
which many will no doubt take as evidence of my inveterate
"Islamophobia," but I
do this all the time, all day every day, and I've heard thousands of stories of
people who were in and around the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, and
I've never heard anyone tell the story of a Muslim woman who was working to
save people and who was buried in the rubble, was dug out, and went back to
work. Given the politically correct avidity to find "moderate
Muslims" on the part of both government and media since 9/11, I seriously
doubt that if such a woman existed, her story would not have been repeatedly
trumpeted far and wide. But I am not saying El-Gamal is necessarily lying; if
anyone (including you, Mr. El-Gamal, or even the shifty Aziz Poonawalla) can give
evidence to establish this woman's existence and substantiate these claims, I
will publish the material here.
[UPDATE: El-Gamal may have been referring to
Ruby Ramadan. I have no idea of the veracity of the account here (thanks to Peter), but it does roughly match up with
El-Gamal's words.]
4. Q - What are Imam Feisal's specific roles and responsibilities in the
project? If he is not in a leadership/executive position, then who is really
"in charge" and making the decisions?
A - Imam
Feisal Abdul-Rauf is as an interfaith leader and a visionary in this project.
He has served the lower Manhattan community faithfully for over 27 years. He is
supported by political and religious leaders across New York City for his
commitment to moderation and tolerance and his years of work in bringing people
together.
Besides
being an open advocate for Sharia, Rauf has (like CAIR) refused to denounce Hamas.
He has lied about his commitment to
religious dialogue. He has lied about whether the Islamic center
planned for the Ground Zero site will contain a mosque or not. And
he has lied about whether or not the
project is getting foreign funding. He is involved with a group that helped
fund the jihad flotilla against Israel.
Park51 is
an independent project led by Muslim Americans. This project will be separate
from The Cordoba Initiative and ASMA. The next step is forming a non-profit and
applying for tax-exempt status. Imam Feisal and I are serving as the project
managers until then. This non-profit will be run by an Executive Director, yet
to be selected, support staff, and a 23-member Board of Directors. Imam Feisal
will be one of the Directors, and will oversee the Cordoba House, which will
direct the interfaith programming within Park51.. We have not yet selected the
other members of the Board of Directors, but we will be picking people very
carefully, based on their record of leadership, relevant experience and
positive contribution to New York City and the country. The board will not be
limited by religion.
The mosque will be run by a separate non-profit whose Board of
Directors will reflect a broad range of experience. While the mosque will be
located in the planned final structure of Park51, it will be a distinct
non-profit. Neither Park51 nor the mosque, which hasn't been named yet, will
tolerate any kind of illegal or un-American activity and rhetoric.
Here
again, precise definitions are needed. Does El-Gamal believe it would be
"illegal or un-American" to teach Sharia supremacism in lower
Manhattan? And of course Aziz Poonawalla doesn't follow up with specific
clarifying questions.
5. Q - Will you pledge make all funding
sources fully transparent? What are your criteria for accepting funding from a
foreign source, to assuage concerns about extremist influences?
A - We have
not yet launched our fundraising campaign. Park51 will incorporate as a
non-profit and seek federal tax-exempt status. We are pledging to pursue this
fundraising campaign in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. We
have hired legal counsel and top-notch auditors to oversee this process from
start to finish.
We will hire security consultants to assist us in the process of
reviewing potential financiers and philanthropists as we begin to establish our
fundraising strategy. We will refuse assistance, financial or otherwise, from
any persons or institutions who are flagged by our security consultants or any
government agencies.
The Muslim Brotherhood is not
"flagged." But it is dedicated, in its own words, to "eliminating and destroying Western
civilization from within." Will the Ground Zero mega-mosque organizers
deal with Brotherhood individuals and groups? If so, how will they keep the
Brotherhood's perspective on Sharia and Islamic supremacism out of the mosque?
Are they even interested in doing so?
6. Q - Why was the site's proximity to Ground
Zero considered a "selling point"? What other locations in lower
Manhattan, if any, were considered that could serve the same purpose?
A - We are
not at Ground Zero. In fact we're as close to City Hall as we are to Ground
Zero. Lower Manhattan is pretty small. You can't see Ground Zero from our
current building and on completion of our planned building some years from now,
there won't be any views of the Ground Zero memorial from the building. To
honor those who were killed on September 11th, we have planned for a public
memorial within our future facility as well as reflection space open to all.
Of
course, a September 11 memorial could be in Des Moines, it could be anywhere.
When he talks about how Ground Zero can't be seen from the current building,
El-Gamal is in "Ground Zero? What Ground Zero?" mode, as explained
above. Rauf's wife Daisy Khan played the other side of this game here, emphasizing the property's symbolic closeness to
Ground Zero.
Let me
tell you a little bit about the history of this project. We'd been looking for
at least seven years to find a space to accommodate the growing population of
Muslims in lower Manhattan. We found this site in January of 2006 and getting
to the finish line and acquiring the real estate was proof that persistence
pays off. We had also been eager to contribute to the revitalization of lower
Manhattan, in part because this is our area of business and also because as New
Yorkers we wanted to give back to our city and help make it a better place to
live.
Prior to purchasing our current facility at 45 Park Place, there
were two mosques in lower Manhattan - although Park51 is not affiliated with
either of these mosques. One was Masjid
Farah, which could fit a maximum of approximately 65 people, and had to
hold three or four separate prayer services on Fridays just to fit the crowds.
The second mosque, at Warren St., accommodated about 1,500
worshippers during Friday prayers - people had been praying on sidewalks
because they had no room. They lost their space around May 2009. We made the
move to buy 45 Park Place in July 2009 in part to offset the loss of this
space. Currently, our space at 45 Park Place, accommodates around 450 people
every Friday. We are also easily accessible from many different parts of
Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island, which was an important consideration.
At the same time, we thought, why not give back to lower Manhattan
and fulfill a pressing need? We looked for a building that could grow into a
community center. In Lower Manhattan, the biggest community center is at Bowery
and Houston and it's in a basement. There are new residential towers going up in
lower Manhattan as we speak. Four Seasons is planning the tallest residential
tower in the city a block away from our site. If you think of all of the
community centers in Manhattan, they are further north. Residents need
services, investment in the neighborhood, activities and opportunities.
Community
Board 1, which represents the residents of lower Manhattan,
acknowledged the needs we were fulfilling when they gave us their clear support
on two separate occasions.
Again
-- no mention of Ground Zero in any of that windy explanation. It's a far cry
from Daisy Khan's words: "I think the building came to us, which goes to
show that there is a symbolism there, and that there's a divine hand in it.
That it's so close to the tragedy, that its close proximity is very symbolic
for the fact that we really want to reverse what happened on 9/11."
7. Q -
Do you concede there are genuine, valid concerns about this project which are
not derived from Islamophobia or racism? What do you think those concerns are
and how would you respond to them?
A - In a
recent poll, even New Yorkers with a favorable opinion of Islam had
reservations about the project. People have real questions and we need to work
hard to make sure we get them answers, and that's not going to happen
overnight. We're going to make sure our fundraising and planning involves
people from across the city and we're going to make sure we do so in a way that
hears concerns and responds to them.
Unfortunately, the public meetings we had with Community Board 1
and the Landmarks Committee were overtaken by a minority who prevented people
from expressing their real concerns. The meetings turned into public
spectacles. We're now looking for ways to engage our fellow New Yorkers and
fellow Americans and have extended an open invitation to anyone concerned to
come visit our space. They'll see we have a warm community that reflects the
diversity of this country, and they'll see that we want to build Park51 so it
has something for everyone.
I can't say this often enough. We work in lower Manhattan, we care
about lower Manhattan and we're here to provide services to lower Manhattan.
The
problem with this is that El-Gamal and Rauf and Daisy Khan and all their allies
have consistently demonized all the opposition to the mega-mosque. There is
nothing "Islamophobic" (a manipulative, trumped-up word in any case)
or "racist" about pointing out that throughout history Muslims have
built triumphal mosques on the cherished sites of conquered peoples, or that
Rauf has not been honest, or that the mosque would be an insult to the people
killed by Islamic supremacists on 9/11. I have seen people at Community Board
meetings and elsewhere painstakingly and cogently explain why their opposition
to the mega-mosque had nothing whatsoever to do with "bigotry" or
"intolerance," only to be rudely ignored and again vilified as bigots
by mosque proponents.
8. Q - How do you respond to a recent
Quinnipiac poll [4] showing a majority (52%) of New Yorkers actively oppose the
project? What would you say to the 17% undecided New Yorkers to try and
persuade them?
A - The same poll shows that a
majority of Manhattan is behind us. Community Board 1 is overwhelmingly behind
us, and they represent the people of lower Manhattan who are closest to Park51
and would be most relevant to our vision. They are the people of lower
Manhattan. They've studied our project closely, they learned about who we are
and they live in the area we hope to serve. They were clear in their support
for us, and we're tremendously grateful for that.
The Board recognized the value in jobs, programs and services we
are bringing to the city, and they know that this project is very important for
lower Manhattan. That's a major reason why Borough President Scott Stringer,
Mayor Bloomberg, Councilwoman Chin and Councilman Jackson, City Comptroller
Liu, Attorney General Cuomo, State Senator Squadron, U.S. Congressman Nadler,
Governor Paterson a number of key officials and institutions are supporting us.
We're also pleased to have the support of September 11th Families for Peaceful
Tomorrows. These leaders and organizations know Imam Feisal has served Lower
Manhattan for a long time, and that he has been a positive force in this city
and country.
But we need to do more to reach out to the undecided New Yorkers,
the New Yorkers who have only heard misrepresentations about Park51, and other
Americans in other parts of our country. I think that as more information comes
out about the project, and more people learn about who we are and how we want
to help New York City, we'll see these numbers change.
I want people in New York who are undecided to know we're a part
of this city, and we want to make it a better place to live and work. We want
to help stimulate our economy, and enhance New York's position as a global hub
of ideas and culture.
Then
address our real concerns, instead of setting up straw men and engaging in the
basest forms of character assassination.
9. Q - How do you make the case for supporting Park 51 to the local Muslim
American community? Doesn't Park 51 undermine support for (and even actively
harm) more pragmatic mosque projects in Sheepshead Bay and Staten Island?
A - We're
not affiliated with either of those projects, but we do recognize that this
project affects people from all over the world. New York City is the capital
city of the world. I'm pretty sure New York City also has the largest Muslim
population of any city in the United States. Muslim New Yorkers need to do more
to become part of the institutions and organizations that serve and contribute
to this city. We believe Park51 will be a positive step in this direction.
I believe that our model represents the best of American and
Muslim values. More people need to know the truth about Islam, and that's that
Islam is a peaceful religion, a compassionate religion, which
preaches service to all. Unfortunately, there is some opposition
to Muslim projects which is driven by hate and negativity, and we should be
concerned by this.
Because hate for one minority can become hate for anyone who's
different, and New Yorkers, like Americans, understand the value of diversity
and the importance of protecting difference. That's what makes America so
dynamic and so unique.
Here
again, opposition to the mosque has nothing to do with "hate." No one
would ever take the time to "hate" Muslims or think about them at all
were it not for the ongoing threat of jihad terrorism and the increasing
arrogance and demands of the Muslim community in the U.S. And the mega-mosque
is just another example of it.
10. Q The controversy has alienated many
Americans and New Yorkers who are tolerant of Islam per se but viscerally react
to the project with offense. In hindsight, what could you have done differently
to avoid this reaction?
A - My heart
goes out to the families who lost loved ones. We were all attacked that day, no
matter what our color or our religion. I understand that people are offended,
but we cannot lose sight of why we are doing this. And we cannot forget that we
are a part of this city, a major part of this city, and we need to work
together as Americans and as New Yorkers.
Moving forward, I hope and pray the dialogue reaches more New
Yorkers and Americans. People have concerns and questions, and we want to
answer them in a meaningful way, in a way that lets people know who we really
are, what we want to do for the city and how they can be a part of Park51.
We have to appeal to the undecided, and change the conversation
about Muslims in America. Because of that, we're offering an open door. You
know, I'd love it if Sarah Palin came to Park51 to see our community.
She'd see that we're just as American as she is. She'd get the
chance to meet some of her fellow citizens who happen to be Muslims. Consider
that an open invitation, Mrs. Palin. We'd love to see you. We want to welcome
everybody who cares about this city and about this country.
Fine, let's dialogue. Let's continue
this discussion. I've raised what I believe to be legitimate concerns here. I
invite Sharif El-Gamal to respond, and we will have a dialogue. I'm ready when
he is.

with an article on the New York mosque that is not, as one might have expected
it would be, a defense of the Ground Zero mosque as an inoffensive and innocent
"free exercise of religion," but, she rightly senses, a depiction of the
mosque as something more suspect and more worrisome.
She shows
en passant that she continues to believe, or at least pays lip service to, the
myth of Cordoba, that is, the myth of an Islamic Spain where Christians and
Jews lived under benign Muslim overlords, a splendid example of
"Convivencia" - and one presumably with implications for the
brave-new-world we are allowing to be created, if we do nothing to halt it, in
Western Europe.
But is
this "convivencia" stuff true? Was Montgomery Watt, the Anglican
clergyman who was, as his former student Ibn Warraq testifies, philo-Islamic
because he had a horror mainly of atheism, correct in his depiction of Islamic
Spain? And what about Maria Rosa Menocal, with her Ornament of the World? You
can read about her at this site. Was Cordoba, was Islamic Spain itself, a place
where "Muslims, Christians, and Jews" all lived in splendid harmony?
Apparently the Christians didn't feel so, because otherwise why would they have
spent 500 years in attempting to throw back the Muslim invaders? And what about
the Jews, who had no army? Well, consider the most famous of those Jews --
there is a statute of him, by the way, in Cordoba, in the Juderia. What did
Maimonides think of Cordoba, where he lived, as a place where under Muslim rule
Muslims, Christians, and Jews lived in "harmony"? In his
"Epistle to Yemen," Maimonides described his experience. The Jews
were treated so well? If so, why did Maimonides denounce the hideous treatment
of Jews by Muslims in Spain, and why did Christians tirelessly engage in the
Reconquista over 500 years?
But other
than that conventional unwisdom about Cordoba, Georgie Ann Geyer appears to
have come, at least somewhat, to her senses. It will be interesting to see if
she can ever drop her anti-Israel animus. She was offended, and rightly, by the
display of arrogance and contempt for the feelings of non-Muslims, demonstrated
by the not-quite-as-suave-as-necessary Muslim spokesman who appeared on
television to attack those who question the motives, the funding, the goals,
the everything, of those behind the Ground-Zero Mosque:
One
organization is the Cordoba Initiative, which has a good reputation as an
Islamic group that wants to meet with Christians in an atmosphere reminiscent
of an Islamic "Y." (It is named after the liberal Islamic caliphate
in Cordoba, Spain, ruling from the eighth to the 15th centuries, which
respected Christians and Jews -- a good sign.)
But no
one has revealed where the $100 million for the mosque has come from, who is
behind the idea, or who are the people leading the entire project. [...]
The
so-named "spokesman" and "founder" for the Ground Zero
Mosque initiative, interviewed on CNN, was far from courteously trying to
convince other Americans of his group's good intentions. He was arrogant, smug
and derisive of non-Muslim Americans. One came away from his interview feeling
that he really wanted to, as the kids rather eloquently say, stick it to us.
Given
these chasms of information -- and the attitude of the Muslims involved -- one
can only be against this Ground Zero Mosque. The unequivocal fact is that the
grounds where so many died so terribly is no place at this moment of history
for any mosque....
And she
ends her piece thus:
And
here's perhaps the most important point. If the planners of this mosque, like
the arrogant one on CNN, really consider themselves Americans, they would not
bring up such an aberrant idea at such an
emotional
time, when the United States is fighting two wars against radical Islam, and
when American Muslims remain a largely unknown quantity.
Last
weekend, for instance, a conference of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was
scheduled to be held at the Dulles Expo Center near the capital, in Virginia,
with 5,000 set to attend. The theme was:
"Are Muslims required to obey non-Muslim governments?" The
radical Hizb ut-Tahrir America (HTA) was also scheduled to hold a conference in
Chicago earlier this month to hype the idea of spreading an Islamic state to
the entire world, but it was suddenly canceled by the Marriott Oak Brook hotel
for reasons unknown.
That
these questions could even be asked among people who have taken citizenship
oaths to defend the United States, and who enjoy all the benefits of this
country, tells you that we must carefully observe the players to be sure we are
playing with the same rules.
Keep in mind that there are few Christian
churches, much less Jewish synagogues or other religious temples, anywhere in
the Islamic world. Until Muslims are willing to provide for others, in countries
where they are dominant, what they so arrogantly demand for themselves in the
West, it would be the height of folly to allow such a dramatic and intrusive
development as the Ground Zero Mosque.
But this
note of "no one can say us nay" and "we are here to stay"
and "we'll do what we want- if not right now, then soon enough, when our
numbers and our power increase," is a theme that Muslims have been
sounding for a long time, and quite deliberately. It is only recently that
Infidels have noticed this theme, thanks to the Muslims' behavior toward
non-Muslims all over the world. This behavior includes the many reported acts
(and just how many similar acts do you think are never reported, that we never
hear about?) of persecution and humiliation, and attacks on, and even murders
of, non-Muslims in lands ruled by Muslims. It also includes the demands, each
more outrageous than the next, for changes in the ways of life, in the laws and
customs, of non-Muslim peoples and lands, into which - in a fit of nearly
criminal negligence, Muslims in large numbers have been admitted and allowed to
settle, by those who simply relied on pious assumptions about Islam. They had
no real knowledge or understanding of either the ideology of the Total
Belief-System of Islam, or of the goals of Jihad. It is only just now that many
are prepared to listen carefully, and no longer to overlook such statements,
and to begin to grasp how such attitudes arise naturally from the texts and
tenets of Islam.
Take that
Muslim "scholar" Tariq Ramadan. He is, in truth - see Frere Tariq by
Caroline Fourest, which is now available in English -- a sly propagandist for
Islam. He has had a chair specially endowed for him at Oxford by Arabs spending
some of their oil-and-gas revenues. Oxford has done this to its shame and, one
hopes, to its great and permanent dismay, once potential contributors, non-Arab
and non-Muslim, find out about this bought-and-paid-for well-upholstered chair
supplied to Tariq Ramadan. Listen closely to Tariq Ramadan. One of the things
he keeps saying is the phrase: "It's over." Yes, he repeats it too:
"It's over. It's over." What does he mean when he says that to
opponents? He means that we Muslims are here, and what's more, there is nothing
you can do about it, so don't even try to stop us in any way, and don't even
think about halting our arrival, or dislodging us, or taking away the benefits
we exploit or refusing to meet the demands that we make: "It's over. It's
over."
This is a
rhetorical weapon, the weapon of the triumphalist bully, attempting to
demoralize Europeans into throwing up their hands in despair, and not being
able to summon the will to halt Muslim immigration and then even to reverse it,
through a series of intelligent, carefully-crafted, and perfectly-justified
measures. No other group of immigrants poses anything like the implacable and
permanent danger that Muslim immigrants so clearly pose to the political and
legal institutions, the art, science, literature, freedoms, of the advanced
West. That large-scale Muslim presence has created a situation for the
indigenous non-Muslims (and for other, but non-Muslim, immigrants) that is far
more unpleasant, expensive, and physically dangerous than would be the case
without such a large-scale Muslim presence. No one should hearken to, though we
all should listen to, the implied threats and menace underneath soft-spoken,
but deeply sinister Tariq Ramadan with his "It's over. It's over."
One year ago, the city was buzzing when the
newspapers published a letter by Bouchra Ismaili, a Rotterdam city councilman:
"Listen up, crazy freaks, we're here to stay. You're the foreigners here,
with Allah on my side I'm not afraid of anything. Take my advice: convert to
Islam, and you will find peace."
It is not
over. It is just now that people are educating themselves and waking up. Tariq
Ramadan does not want that to even be considered as a possibility. He wants -
and many other Muslims want - us to believe in historical inevitability, and in
the inevitability of their triumph. This is exactly what Hitler and the Nazis
believed; it is exactly what the Marxists believed. And it is, I'm afraid,
present even among us, with those who obliquely invoke something called
"History" as demanding this or requiring that, in that dangerous
phrase that Obama likes to use: "getting on the right side of
history."
There is
no "right side" of history. There is one damn thing after another,
and some things are much more worrisome than other things, and require
different kinds of analyses, a shouldering of different kinds of burdens. The
historical inevitabilists, even in the weak or etiolated form of that
"getting on the right side of history," are always dangerous, and
especially so if they allow the tariq-ramadans of this world to keep the
peoples of Western Europe from rousing themselves and admitting that over the
past few decades they made colossal errors in their immigration policies, and
in their domestic policies that have permitted, and even encouraged, Muslim
colonies within the West to expand, and to do so at the expense - in every
sense - of the indigenous non-Muslims.
But the
halting of any growth in, and the peaceful, legal, and orderly reversal of the
size of, the Muslim presence in Europe, is exactly what people are coming to
understand has to be achieved. And achieved with or without the understanding,
help, and support of the benighted American government, at least as presently
constituted. (And Tariq Ramadan's suavity, by the way, can turn to hysteria in
a New York minute, and I have seen or heard it happen repeatedly. In this
respect he is like a great many of the seemingly smoothest Muslim
propagandists, who when challenged by the well-prepared falls apart, and starts
to rant, in tel qu'en lui-meme fashion.)
Listen carefully to Muslim rhetoric in this
country and elsewhere in the West.
It is always not-quite-what-it-seems-to-be: we hear,
for example, the phrase "we are here to stay." What does that
ambiguous phrase mean? Is that a rousing sign of loyalty to the American
political and legal system? Or is it,
rather, an aggressive and defiant expression -- we're here, we're not going
anywhere, and we will do exactly as we please, in putting relentless pressure
on the American legal and political system, on its educational system, on its
social understandings, and will never give up, and don't think about trying to
stop us -- because "we're here to stay" and the lands that, for now,
you possess do not really belong to you, but belong to Allah and to the
"best of peoples," that is, the Muslims.
You have
only temporary possession, perhaps not even a life estate; the fee simple
belongs to us, the Umma, the people who received rightly the message, from the
Seal of the Prophets, that Perfect Man (al-insan al-kamil), Muhammad. And while
some Muslims say no Infidel laws should be obeyed, others, more prudent, think
that for now such a demonstration would not be in Islam's best interests. They
take a different tack: we will obey your silly manmade Infidel laws insofar as
they either do not contradict any part of the Shari'a. And they then add, in a
sub-rosa coda meant to be understood only by fellow Muslims: "and only
because it makes more sense for now to temporarily do so, in the same spirit of
Muhammad treating with the Meccans at Hudaibiyya, that is, insofar as our
present relative weakness in the West requires that we temporarily must, in
order to bide our time and fortify further our position."
Earlier
in July there was a big furor in Great Britain about another planned mosque.
There have been so many furors, so much anguish caused by Muslims all over as
they conduct their campaign of conquest-from-within, one whose goals the
less-prudent or more certain-of-triumph among them have not hidden:
DEFENCE
chiefs are fighting plans to build a giant mosque overlooking Britain's top
military academy. They claim the new centre poses a security threat to budding
Army officers at world-famous Sandhurst.
The
building would have a huge dome and two 100ft minarets towering over the
soldiers' parade ground.
The
minarets will be sited within 400 yards of the Royal Military Academy in
Surrey....
Campaign
leader Alan Kirkland said: "A lot of people are questioning the size of
the minarets which will overlook the whole of the academy."
Local MEP
Nigel Farage said: "I am appalled at such an idea. Many fear it could pose
a grave security risk."
A
Ministry of Defence spokesman said: "Sandhurst has put in an objection on
the grounds of security."
Look at the comments by Muslims in any
controversy, whether over this or that mosque, whether they are an affront to
our sentiments, as with the Ground-Zero mosque, or a real threat to security,
as with the mosque-and-minarets proposed to overlook the grounds of Sandhurst.
You will find, once the
slyly
sweet-reason blague is not accepted at once, quite a different tone, one of
triumphalism. A Jihad Watch poster
("dumbeldore's army") brought to my (and others') attention the
comments that accompanied this article. "Dumbledore's Army" describes
those comments thus:
There are
plenty from native non-Muslims who have 'woken up' and are most alarmed and
angry; but there are also some truly appalling remarks by obvious Mohammedan
spin-doctors and brazen liars...as well as sneering Muslim triumphalists,
boasting and taunting.
The most
telling of those is this one, by an identified Muslim, from which the sneering
triumphalism blasts like heat from a furnace. I'm reproducing it here, because
it's a classic of its kind.
"get
over it. This is multicultural Britian in case you haven't noticed. Muslims are
here to stay. If you don't like it, you should leave."
"There
are not enough Mosques as it is.
"There
are churches everywhere. We should be able to have just as many places to
worship as all the other religions have."
"We
have the right to do what ever our religion says"
"and
there isn't a single thing you can do about it."
Think
about that. It connects to Tariq Ramadan's "it's over. It's over."
It connects to the predictions made by Houari
Boumedienne, the ruler of Algeria, back in 1974, at the U.N., when he said
that Europe would be conquered not through outright military conquest, but
"through the wombs of our women." That triumphalist theme has been
repeated by so many Muslim clerics, Muslim political figures, Muslim
journalists, in the press, on the radio, on television - see that indispensable site, www.MEMRI.org, for many examples.
And you,
who come to this site often, are not surprised. You are not surprised, as
perhaps Georgie Ann Geyer was surprised, at the arrogance and contempt shown by
that Muslim spokesman on television:
The
so-named "spokesman" and "founder" for the Ground Zero
Mosque initiative, interviewed on CNN, was far from courteously trying to
convince other Americans of his group's good intentions. He was arrogant, smug
and derisive of non-Muslim Americans. One came away from his interview feeling
that he really wanted to, as the kids rather eloquently say, stick it to us.
Nor are
you surprised when you learn, from Geyer's same piece, that the Ahmadiya
Muslims - yes, the so-called famously "moderate" Ahmadiya Muslims,
who are even considered in Pakistan not to be real Muslims, so unorthodox are
their beliefs said to be - held a meeting just outside Washington, D.C.:
Last
weekend, for instance, a conference of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was
scheduled to be held at the Dulles Expo Center near the capital, in Virginia,
with 5,000 set to attend. The theme was: "Are
Muslims required to obey non-Muslim governments?"
No, you
know. But you have a task. You must make sure that everyone you know also knows
what you have come, slowly, and with effort, to understand about the Total
Belief-System of Islam, and that those others, in turn, having properly
informed themselves, will begin to inform, and alarm, still others. Our
government is not helping. Those who think they know better have so far proven
that they are far behind many whom they presume to instruct and protect; they
are not helping.
So it's
up to you. It's all up to you.
And if
you do not accept this task, in the United States, in Canada, in Australia, in
the countries of Western Europe, then -- I'm afraid -- "it's over."

They will
build their islamic hovel with the help and cooperation of the dhimmis and
useful idiots in high places, and they will gloat and rub it in our faces on
the tenth anniversary of 9/11. It no longer matters what we, the people, want
in America. We are ignored while those
entrusted to represent us systematically destroy our country.
Radical
insurgents from CAIR, the muslim brotherhood, and numerous other muslim fifth
column revolutionaries in America. It will be a sad and nauseating event.
"Let
me say this: I am one of many who believed that Islam was a religion of peace
before it was hijacked by terrorists." Right!
Islam was once a religion of peace...before it
was Islam...before Mohammad and his gang of terrorist thugs destroyed the 360
gods and goddesses in the Ka'aba and slaughtered the Quraysh people. The Quraysh peacefully worshipped the sun,
the moon, and the stars.
There were 360 minor gods representing the days of the year. Then along came
the terrorists from Medina, forcing their Islamic ideology down their throats
or cutting them in the desert. They kept the moon, the Kaaba and their
fertility rights but killed, destroyed and erased history in a flash and that's
the way it has been for the last 1400 years.
There was peace and then along cam Mohammad.
I totally
agree with you. The view that 9/11 is great victory of Islam at the turn of
twenty-first century is a view shared by all Muslims of the world despite the
sad words and crocodile tears shown by some well-known Muslims.Besides, KOSOVO
is yet another victory won by Islam by courtesy of Arch-Dhimmi Clinton-led
NATO.
After 9/11,the general over-all condition of economy is greatly affected by
many resultant factors among which the ever-rising oil prices included. We are
now all suffering a lot of inconveniences at security-check points at various
points of travel and economic hardships, all this due to Islam's terrorist
activities for more assaults toward eventual conquest of non-Muslim world. Let
us remember even UN has become their lobbying effective ground using a lot of
oil-money.
One more special thing I noticed after the success of 9/11 attacks is that
Muslims, especially Muslim-women living in non-Muslim countries start wearing
their head-scarves as if raising the Islamic banner. I am an Asian-American
coming from non-Muslim majority country. Before 9/11,Muslims in my native
country keep low profile. Now,no more. They grew more arrogant and brazen in
their daily dealings with other people. Now, I understand this is a global
trend among all of them.Osama Bin Laden and his team hoped to drain out America
financially and go bankrupt. The situation all of us,(Jews,Christians,Buddhists
and Hindus are in now is a very challenging struggle. On non-Muslim side, we
are not prepared, totally ignorant of Islam's goals of global subjugation and
its skillful deceptive jihad methods. On their side, they are awash in
petro-dollars, very much united and aggressive in their efforts. We need more
people like Mr.Robert who is educating and waking us up.

That's
very interesting. Because I've just read a book by Australian author Vickie Janson, 'Ideological Jihad', which
describes exactly the same thing happening here, in Australia.
Here's Vickie's story:
"I
have a friend who was a 'secular' Muslim (Initially she wasn't religiously observant).
She was the first Muslim person I met. Our sons were about the same age and had
a close friendship meandering between both homes for constant meals. They had
the best of both worlds - lentils and potatoes.
"We
[Vickie, her husband, their kids] were a family who said thanks before meals
and prayed together. And we were very aware of the reality of God's personal
intervention in our lives...".
Vickie
describes how she and her Muslim neighbor and friend would have coffee and talk
- 'a long history of religious discussion'.
BUT
"BUT September 11 altered our
relationship in an unusual way.
"**My
friend immediately adorned herself with the hijab, the Islamic veil** {my
emphasis - dda}.
"She
began attending Islamic lectures and giving me [Muslim] literature, tapes and
videos. She also gave me the Qur'an.
"Her
son was also profoundly affected. Soon after September 11 he came to us clearly
upset after school. He said, 'I don't want to go to hell'. He was seeking
guidance, confirmation, something to make sense of the great gulf he saw
between our worlds. We assured him that it wasn't the Lord's will for him to go
to hell. We assured him that if he prayed sincerely for Truth that ultimately
God would be faithful in revealing Truth to him...
"My
son gave him a Bible which he was fascinated to read.
"But
when he got it home, his mum, despite having encouraged me to read the Qur'an,
took the Bible off him. Things went from bad to worse. Now he couldn't sleep
over, and he couldn't eat our 'unclean' food - which for several years had been
considered 'clean'. I found the verse in the Qur'an that said it was OK to eat
the food of the 'People of the Book' (Jews and Christians) but his mum said I
had tried to deceive him....
"The
coffee times [between Vickie and her Muslim female supposed 'friend'] lessened
and our 'extra son'...missed out on our very ordinary mashed potato...
"We
simply discovered we were friends positioned n our own side of this great
chasm...There were times I wondered how much of this was due to the eight
citations I had found in the Qur'an forbidding friendships between Muslims and
non-Muslims..".
- from
'Ideological Jihad', pages 13-14.
So there
you have it, all the way from suburban Australia, exactly the same reaction
from an apparently secular/ nominal Muslim family there, as you - nomorestupid
- describe from *your* country, once September 11 2001 took place: the woman
dons the hijab, and previously apparently-cordial attitudes toward non-Muslims
suddenly flip into distancing and hostility.
The Saudi
Connection
We now
return to the remarkable World Economic Forum web page that details Feisal
Abdul Rauf’s financial supporters.
http://www2.weforum.org/en/initiatives/c100/Projects/index.html
By now
any school boy knows that Feisal Abdul Rauf is funded in part by the odious Saudi
prince Al Walid.
The
second patron listed at the WEF web site is the Xenel Corporation.
The Xenel
Corp. was in the news about 8 years ago in connection when its then CEO Abdullah
Alireza was connected to Osama Bin Laden.
The Xenel
Corp. was in the midst of developing its Xentury City in Orlando Florida when
scandal hit.
Here is
how Xentury City describes itself:
“Xentury’s
planners set out two decades ago to create a “city within a city,” where
luxury, imagination and culture dwell. Careful planning and a commitment to
enduring excellence provide the ideal development location and position Xentury
| The Global Resort City as the standard for 21st century high-end commercial,
retail and resort development.” http://xenturycity.com/index.php?page_id=6
Think
Feisal Abdul Rauf’s Cordoba House only on a much larger scale. It would take
twenty years to place all the components of this very ambitious, maybe even
ostentatious, development.
As part
of the process, when Xentury was approved for the construction of a large
convention center, the local Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees Union
did a background check which happens “whenever a new hotel project develops in
a market where the union has members.”
http://www.bizjournals.com/orlando/stories/2002/10/21/story1.html
The
background check revealed “information that appears to indirectly tie
Xentury's parent company to "less than desirable individuals, businesses
and organizations." “
Xenel CEO Abdullah Alireza was linked to Bin Laden as follows:
One major
shareholder in the Al Shamal bank founded by Osama bin Laden and others
is the Faisal Bank.
• A trust
holds an ownership interest in the Faisal bank.
• One member of the board of supervisors of the trust is Abdullah Alireza.
• Alireza is also the managing partner and a major shareholder of Xenel
Industries, the parent company of Xentury City.”
http://www.bizjournals.com/orlando/stories/2002/10/21/story1.html
I know
what you are thinking; "How far is far enough? 3 banks?, 7 banks?, 10
banks?" How close is too close?
To
complicate matters, Abdullah Alireza is very well connected, and very wealthy.
The Xenel
business was founded in 1973 by the descendants of one of the oldest trading
houses in the Middle East.
It is a Saudi diversified holding company for the various businesses of the House
of Alireza established in 1845.
Five
former American ambassadors to Saudi Arabia, as well, as the Governor of
Florida, and the White House interceded on Alireza’s behalf, but it didn’t
work.
On
December 12, 2002 Osceola County Commission denied Xentury City the
right to develop Osceola's Convention Center complex.
http://www.bizjournals.com/orlando/stories/2002/12/16/editorial2.html
But, the
story continues.
Although
Abdullah Alireza has since left Xenel to become Saudi Minister of State, his
brother, Kahlid has taken his place as CEO of Xenel.
Both Kahlid
Alireza, and the Xenel corporation appear on the “Golden Chain” list
”or a list purported sponsors of al Qaeda
that was seized in March 2002 raid by Bosnian police authorities of the
premises of the Benevolence International Foundation in Sarajevo.
The list
includes at least 20 top Saudi and Gulf State financial sponsors including
bankers, businessmen, and former ministers. Part of the list included computer
file titles "Tarekh Osama" or "Osama History", but the
appellation "Golden Chain" itself is due to al Qaeda defector Jamal
al-Fadl, who vouched for its authenticity; the FBI later also pronounced
the document as genuine”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Golden_Chain
“The Benevolence International Foundation (Benevolence International Fund in
Canada, Bosanska Idealna Futura in Bosnia) (BIF) was a purported nonprofit
charitable trust based in Saudi Arabia. It was a front for al-Qaeda and is
now banned worldwide by the United Nations Security Council Committee 1267.
It had already been banned by the US Department of the Treasury.”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benevolence_International_Foundation
Returning
to the present we find Feisal Abdul Rauf, formerly an Imam, and undistinguished
writer, now a Manhatten real estate developer, is financed by a Saudi Prince
who offered Rudy Guillani 10,000$ on condition he admit that America had
deserved the 911 attacks.
Feisal
Abdul Rauf is also financed by Xenel , and CEO Kahlid Alireza both of which are
mentioned in connection with the financing of Al Qaeda.
It is
probably because of things like this that Rep. Peter King has called for an
investigation.
http://peteking.house.gov/video2.shtml
Not one
jot. There was a by now infamous post 9/11
edition of a political program Question Time, in which the Muslims howled about
payback, showed zero empathy and acted as if they owned Britain. The US
Ambassador on the panel wept. It was appalling.
And again
after the London Bombing. The mealy mouthed and qualified apologies did not cut
it. The marginalised society argument was exposed as their doing.
Our then
socialist government caved in time after time until it was too late to save
their sorry hides. They are now consigned to the dustbin of history.
The thing
is turning. We are more and more informed. And we are at long last taking
action.
This
mosque is the greatest insult America could bear. A triumphal edifice rubbing
salt into a still open wound. If built it will create the greatest symbol of
predatory Islam possible.
It must
be halted.
As well
as protesting night and day against this impending piece of 'insult
architecture' (to quote a poster above), I suggest a further, positive course
of action.
There
were two little churches right next to Ground Zero. One survived, one was
destroyed. Both could become a focus of spiritual resistance to the mosque. The survivor was the deeply historic
Episcopal (originally Anglican) St Paul's Chapel, which survived; it was just
far enough away; though it was enveloped in a roaring dust cloud.
http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/0209/st_pauls/online_extra.html
It
provided a place of refuge and shelter for mourners and rescue workers and
cleanup workers during the days and weeks after the attack.
New York City jihadwatchers should
make a point of visiting St Paul's and making a donation to their ongoing
ministry; and Christians from in-town or out of town, who are engaging in
protests against the mosque, might like to make a practice of meeting to pray
at St Paul's, first.
Fill it
with life and energy. See if you can find out whether the clergy and
congregation are aware of Jihad; if they are not, and if - which heaven forbid
- they are dhimmified enough to support the obscene mosque proposal, gently do
your best to undeceive them (by, for example, discreetly leaving about the
place the informative leaflets re Islam that are put out by The Barnabas Fund).
The
church which was destroyed was the tiny and historic St Nicholas's Greek
Orthodox church
http://www.nyc-architecture.com/GON/GON002.htm
which was
crushed and buried under tons of rubble as the South Tower collapsed.
http://www.stnicholasnyc.com/
The photo
on that link shows the final moments of St Nicholas's taken by Eric O'Connell
only minutes before the South Tower came down, is one of the most haunting
pictures of the 21st century.
If you go
to this link - a NY Times article - you will find on the left hand side another
version of the same picture, which can be clicked to enlarge. (I have an idea
I've seen a better version of this, but have not been able to find it yet; this
will have to do, for now).
(There is
a painting that no-one has done yet - but here's the idea: an image of the
collapsing tower, and in the midst of it, rising out of the swirling dust and
falling masonry, his feet on the place where his church used to be, the shining
figure of St Nicholas in his bishop's regalia, holding out his arms to the
people who are falling from and with the tower).
"On
September 11th, the entire weight of World Trade Center Tower 2 came down on
St. Nicholas Church, completely destroying the building and its contents. Only
a handful of damaged icons and religious items were found amongst the rubble.
"Luckily,
no one in the Church was hurt when the Towers collapsed. The caretaker and an
electrician managed to escape only minutes before the tragedy. "(!!)
The
wikipedia entry says - "A report in a Greek-Orthodox newspaper said that
before the South Tower collapsed, part of the airplane's landing gear was seen
resting atop the church. Also, body parts were spotted on and around the church
before the collapse of the tower, presumably the remains of those who had jumped
or fallen from the towers."
The
congregation intend to rebuild; unfortunately, they were persuaded to sell the
original lot (which I for one think is a terrible pity: once the site was
cleared and made safe, they should have been *encouraged* and assisted to
rebuild, on the very same hallowed ground, as fast as possible, it would have
been a perfect gesture of defiance toward the Jihad), and are to rebuild on a
site across the street.
I think
they should be *flooded* with donations great and small, and receive all
possible support and encouragement in their wrestling with the City's
bureaucracy.
Christians
taking part in anti-mosque rallies and protests should make a point of visiting
1. the intended site of the new St Nicholas's and 2. the original site, to pray
and to bless both locations and invoke divine protection and help. And it will
annoy the Muslims no end, for they *hate* it when they have to watch
non-Muslims practising their non-Muslim faith in public and out loud, instead
of cowering and whispering for fear of the Mohammedan Mob.
St
Nicholas's *must* rise again; preferably with a very tall bell tower, oh, maybe
15 stories high.
The
Muslims are planning to build an enormous mosque.
Well:
besides stopping them from doing that, while the Resistance is at it, let's
make sure that, even *nearer* to Ground Zero, there will be a magnificent Greek
Orthodox Church of St Nicholas. Taller than the projected mosque. Preferably
with a LOUD ring of bells! O St Nicholas's, you *must* have bells!
Something else to think about.
There is a protest planned by SIOA (Stop
Islamization of America) for September 11.
There are
three other dates that also suggest themselves as times for protesters to
gather at and focus on this site where so many died, and for non-Muslims,
especially Christians, to affirm publicly who and what *they* are.
1. The
Feast of St Michael and All Angels on September 29th. St Michael is often
thought of as psychopompos, the one who leads the souls of the redeemed into
Paradise.
2.
October 31, November 1st and November 2 - All Hallow's Eve, All Saints', and
All Souls - the feast sometimes called 'The Day of the Dead' in Mexican
Catholic culture. That is the *perfect* day on which to gather at Ground Zero,
hold vigil, and defy Evil. It might be worth finding out whether the
congregation at St Paul's will be specifically remembering the murdered of
September 11 in their services on those three days. Make sure they get a huge
roll-up. And light a candle in memory of Oriana Fallaci, whom the attacks
galvanised into writing her fiery swan-song - her 'wake up, world!' rallying
call and warning re. the Global Jihad, the trilogy 'The Rage and the Pride',
'the Force of Reason' and 'The Apocalypse'.
3. The
Feast of St Nicholas, on December 6 (let's remember that New York was once New
Amsterdam, and that Nicholas is the patron saint of the Dutch, of sailors, of
children; and that one of his legendary miracles involved raising three
murdered boys to life; and that the American 'Santa Claus' is from the Dutch
Sinter Klaas - he came into American popular culture from the Dutch).
Perhaps a
March of Witness could be held on any or all of these dates, in which
participants would beat the bounds of the entire Ground Zero site, as close as
is officially permitted: beginning at or near the old St Nicholas's site and
ending at the new St Nicholas's site, visiting St Paul's en route -and *also*
visiting, very pointedly, the proposed Mosque site, at which point the marchers
might let their feelings and their objections be made known.

Management
Its Chairman and chief executive officer is Sharif
El-Gamal. Its partners are Sammy El-Gamal and Nour Mousa. Mousa is the nephew of Amr Moussa,
the Secretary General of the Arab League, who was the first major Arab
leader to go to Gaza and affirm support for Hamas, in mid-June 2010, after the
Gaza blockade-running incident 31 West 27th Street.
In November 2009, it was reported that the firm spent
$45.7 million to purchase 31 West 27th Street in New York City, a 12-story,
108,594-square-foot (10,088.7 m2) office building. El-Gamal said: "We
just bought it for the income. It's got great long-term leases, and the
financing was really attractive. We have five years at a very attractive
interest rate, and it's probably the best B building in this submarket."[5]
Soho Properties purchased it from the Witkoff Group, which had purchased the
building in 2006 for $31.5 million.
Cordoba House
Ground Zero 12 days after the 9/11 attacks. The
location of the proposed Cordoba House is circled in red. Viewed at full
size, a blue tarp is visible covering a damaged section of the building's roof.
In July 2009, it purchased the 47–51 Park Place building
on the site of the planned Cordoba House, also referred to as the
"Ground Zero Mosque" and "Park51", a proposed $100 million,
13-story, glass and steel Islamic cultural center and mosque that is in the
planning stage. The specific location, close to the World Trade Center “where a piece of the wreckage
fell,” was a primary selling point for the Muslims who bought the
building. Soho Properties paid the owner
$4.85 million in cash for the property.
One investor in the transaction with Soho Propoerties was
a tax-exempt foundation named the Cordoba
Initiative. American Imam Feisal Abdul
Rauf is CEO and Executive Director of Cordoba Initiative. The other investor with Soho Properties was
another foundation, known as the American
Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA).
ASMA was founded by Abdul Rauf, and is run by Abdul Rauf
and his wife out of the same New York office as the Cordoba Initiative. The foundations are working on the project
with Soho Properties, the co-developer of the center.
Claudia Rosett, a journalist with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies
who writes a weekly column on foreign affairs for Forbes, devoted
a column to raising questions as to the source of the funding for the effort. Some U.S. politicians such as Republicans Peter T. King
and Rick Lazio
asked for an investigation of the group’s finances, especially its foreign
funding. King said: "The people who are involved in the construction of
the mosque are refusing to say where their [$100 million] funding is going to
come from.
Dr. Zuhdi Jasser,
President of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy,
also said:
“There
should be transparency about who those investors are, whether that money is
coming from domestic interest or not, and if it's coming from foreign interests
we need to know, because I think that's a liability, and it shows that there is
another agenda rather than domestic security and tranquility”.
El-Gamal said he wanted the building to be
energy-efficient and transparent, most likely with a glass façade. He said: “It’s really to provide a place of
peace, a place of services and solutions for the community which is always
looking for interfaith dialogue". He envisions it as "a place where I
could show off my hospitality, my culture, my background".

NY Congressman Calls for Probe of Funding for Mosque Near
Ground Zero and Its Promoter
Friday, July 30, 2010
By Nick Dean

Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.)
(CNSNews.com) – Rep.
Peter King (R-N.Y.) said a mosque should not be built near Ground Zero in
Manhattan and that there should be an investigation into the funding for the
proposed Islamic community center, as well as the imam who is promoting the
initiative.
"I don’t believe that there should be a mosque in the vicinity of
Ground Zero,” King said on Wednesday. “This is such a sensitive issue, and it
is offensive to so many people that I don’t think there should be a mosque
there.”
King, ranking Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee, made his
remarks at the conservative Heritage Foundation at an event entitled,
"Keeping America Free, Safe and Prosperous: Counterterrorism in the Obama
Administration."
The proposed Islamic community center, Cordoba House, is a
project of the Cordoba Initiative, in Manhattan, which describes itself as
“Improving Muslim-West relations” and “steering the world back to the course of
mutual recognition and respect and away from heightened tensions.”
The group is headed by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf. On Sept. 30, 2001, two
weeks after the 9/11 attacks, Fiesal told CBS’ “60
Minutes,” “I wouldn’t say that the United States deserved what happened. But
the United States’ policies were an accessory to the crime that happened.”
When
CBS’ Ed Bradley then asked, “You say that we’re an accessory—how?” Feisal said,
“Because we have been an accessory to a lot of innocent lives dying in the
world. In fact, in the most direct sense, Osama bin Laden is made in the USA.”
On Wednesday, King referenced those remarks and said he wants an
investigation of Fiesal, his background and his affiliations.
"I think we should investigate the imam who is going to be at that
mosque,” King said. “He is portrayed as being a moderate, a bridge builder. The
fact is he was on television after 9/11 saying the U.S. brought this on
themselves.
"To me, there are enough questions here. If those questions are raised,
examined and explored, you could build up enough public opinion to stop the
mosque,” said King.
The new community center would be built where there currently is a
150-year-old building that was slightly damaged by part of the landing gear of
one of the planes that was crashed into the World Trade Center by radical
Islamist terrorists.
The proposed community center would contain a 500-seat performing arts
theater, a cooking school, swimming pool, restaurant, a Muslim prayer center
and other amenities.
Last week, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, a Republican, said he opposed
the Cordoba Initiative's plans.
"The proposed ‘Cordoba House’ overlooking the World Trade Center
site – where a group of jihadists killed over 3,000 Americans and destroyed one
of our most famous landmarks – is a test of the timidity, passivity and
historic ignorance of American elites," Gingrich said in a statement
on his Web site.
"There should be no mosque near Ground Zero in New York so long as there
are no churches or synagogues in Saudi Arabia,” he said. “The time for double
standards that allow Islamists to behave aggressively toward us while they
demand our weakness and submission is over."
King, in reference to the lack of religious freedom in Saudi Arabia, said
he thinks America should not dictate its rules based on the laws of Saudi
Arabia or any other country.
"I wouldn't base what we do on what Saudi Arabia does," King
said. "What I have called for is a full investigation of the funding
behind the mosque. It is going to cost over $100 million, I believe. The people
who are involved in the construction of the mosque are refusing to say where
their funding is going to come from."
Inquiries to Feisal by CNSNews.com for comment on his remarks about 9/11
and Osama bin Laden were not returned before this story was published
SHARIA
Louisiana At Leading
Edge In Fight Against Shariah, Posted by Elena on
August 17, 2010
Shariah can be
accurately described as reactionary, deliberately vague and, in its
implementation, barbaric.
By Christopher Holton, Vice President, Center for Security Policy
There is a term which you may have seen or heard mentioned in the news, the
blogosphere or on talk radio lately that you should know more about: Shariah.
(Sometimes spelled Sharia or Shari’a, as well as some other variations.)
Readers of The Hayride may also be interested to learn that Louisiana is
actually at the forefront of the fight against Shariah.
Background: What Exactly Is Shariah?
Polling done by Family Security Group back in 2008 indicated that only 3% of
Americans were even aware of the term Shariah—and an even smaller percentage
actually knew what it was.
So we will begin with a basic description of Shariah.
Shariah, often referred to as “Islamic Law,” is in actuality a legal doctrine
based on the Quran and Hadiths (sayings and acts of Mohammed), but one which
goes far beyond what Westerners would regard as religious matters or routine
legal matters.
Shariah covers all aspects of life, including criminal law, domestic law,
statecraft and warfare (Jihad). Shariah encompa**** personal ethics and legal
issues, religion and state governance, this world and the afterlife. Shariah is
said to enforce the will of Allah, as opposed to the will of humans. Shariah
regulates belief, speech and religious practice, criminal and legal matters,
and other fields including finance and war. There is no such thing as a
separate secular authority or secular law under doctrinal Shariah, since
religion and state are not distinct, but are one.
Shariah is a code which is best known for being the law of the land in Saudi
Arabia, Iran and Sudan, three nations with some of the most horrible human
rights records in the world. It is no coincidence that these three nations are
also heavily involved in Jihadist terrorism.
Shariah can be accurately described as reactionary, deliberately vague and, in
its implementation, barbaric.
Shariah mandates as a religious obligation:
• Violent jihad against non-Muslims to establish Islam’s rule worldwide (known
as the caliphate).
• The killing of apostates from Islam.
• The killing of adulterers and h***sexuals.
• Severe discrimination against women. This includes persecution of women and execution
by stoning of women who are suspected of adultery. Often these women are in
reality victims of rape.
• Barbaric punishment (limb amputations, gouging out of eyes) for petty crimes
such as theft.
• Severe discrimination against, and the subjugation of, non-Muslims.
• For those Muslims who cannot engage in physical jihad using force, shariah
mandates that they support jihad financially—“Jihad with money.”
Shariah and its tenets are completely at odds with everything America and
Western Civilization stand for: freedom, equality, tolerance and justice. The
promotion of shariah represents a commitment to the replacement of secular
political orders. In other words, shariah sets as its goal the destruction of
documents like the US Constitution and the basic liberties set out therein.
The purpose of Shariah is submission. Shariah seeks to establish that Allah is
the divine lawgiver and that no other law may properly exist but Allah’s law.
Shariah tries to attain this objective using non-violent methods. However when
required, and under specified sets of conditions, the use of violence and
outright war to establish the supremacy of Shariah is not just allowed, but
required. This use of force or war is called Jihad.
A key objective of Shariah is to establish submission to Allah’s law by either
converting people to Islam or subjugating them to rule under Shariah law
The doctrine of Jihad is fundamental under Shariah because it is based upon
unambiguous verses in the Quran and Hadiths. Jihad is regarded as key in
Islamic jurisprudence: until the kafir (unbelievers: infidels and polytheists)
are converted, subjugated, or eliminated, their mischief and power will injure
the Islamic world. Jihad is waged chiefly through violence and war but it also
includes other non-violent methods such as infiltration, subversion and
information/psychological warfare.
Here is a very important point: Shariah is very different from other forms of
religious law, such as Jewish halacha law or Catholic canon law in that neither
of the latter is meant to apply to non-Jews or non-Catholics respectively. In
contrast, much of Shariah is explicitly meant to apply to non-Muslims.
Shariah requires that it be dominant and it is an outright crime under Shariah
for a Muslim to adhere to a secular law system that does not explicitly state
and make clear that Shariah is the “highest law of the land”.
Shariah and Violent Jihad
The connection between Shariah and violent Jihad is important because it
represents the most apparent—though far from only–threat from Shariah.
A detailed review of Jihadi literature reveals that, in fact, Shariah is the
enemy’s threat doctrine.
Shariah is the basis for everything the Jihadists do and it is also their main
goal.
Don’t take my word for it, here it is in their own words:
• The sharia has forbidden us from taking infidels as confidants, inducting
them into our secrets.
• The sharia forbids us from appointing infidels to important posts.
• The sharia forbids us from adopting or praising the beliefs and views
of the infidels.
• The sharia forbids us from assisting infidels against Muslims; even the one
who is coerced has no excuse to fight under the banner of the infidels.
• The sharia commands us to battle infidels–both original infidels and apostates,
as well as hypocrites. As for waging jihad against the infidels who have
usurped the lands of Islam, this is a duty considered second only to faith, by
ulemaic consensus.
• The sharia does not accept the excuses made by hypocrites–that they
befriend the infidels because they fear the vicissitudes of time.
• We are duty-bound by the sharia to help Muslims overcome the infidels.
- Ayman al-Zawahiri, Al Qaeda Ideologue and 2nd in Command
“Democracy is based on the principle of the power of creatures over other
creatures, and rejects the principle of God’s absolute power over all
creatures; it is also based on the idea that men’s desires, whatever they may
be, replace God absolutely, and on the refusal to obey God’s law. In Islam,
when there is a disagreement or a difference of opinion, one refers to God, his
Prophet, and the commands of sharia.”
- Ayman al-Zawahiri
“From the point of view of ideology and sharia, we are required to establish
God’s rule over any part of this earth, regardless of particularities and
details. This can only happen, however, if the nation adopts this ideology and
safeguards it.”
- Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Commander of Hizballah
“The laws of the shari’a embrace a diverse body of laws and regulations, which
amounts to a complete social system. In this system of laws, all the needs of
man have been met: his dealings with his neighbors, fellow citizens, and clan,
as well as children and relatives; the concerns of private and marital life;
regulations concerning war and peace and intercourse with other nations; penal
and commercial law; and regulations pertaining to trade and agriculture.”
- Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic Of Iran
1979-1989
“Reason also dictates that we establish a government in order to be able to
ward off aggression and to defend the honor of the Muslims in case of attack.
The shari’a, for its part, instructs us to be constantly ready to defend
ourselves against those who wish to attack us.”
- Ayatollah Khomeini
“It will be the duty of the Muslims to engage in an armed jihad against the
ruling group in order to make the policies ruling society and the norms of
government conform to the principles and ordinances of Islam.”
- Ayatollah Khomeini
“If the enemy attacks the lands of the Muslims or their borders, it is the duty
of all Muslims to defend them by any means possible, including the sacrificing
of one’s life and the expenditure of one’s wealth. With respect to this matter,
there is no need to seek the permission from a shari’a judge.”
- Ayatollah Khomeini
“Our whole struggle is for the enforcement of Shariah law.”
- Muslim Khan, Taliban spokesman
“Practically everything valued by the immoral West is condemned under sharia
law. The sharia provides a true and just path, securing Muslims, and providing
peace to the world. Muslims, and especially the learned among them, should
spread sharia law to the world–that and nothing else. Not laws under the
“umbrella of justice, morality, and rights” as understood by the ma****. No,
the sharia of Islam is the foundation.
They say that our sharia does not impose our particular beliefs upon others;
this is a false assertion. For it is, in fact, part of our religion to impose
our particular beliefs upon others.
Thus whoever refuses the principle of terror[ism] against the enemy also
refuses the commandment of Allah the Exalted, the Most High, and His sharia.”
- Osama Bin Laden
Whenever an attempted Jihadi attack occurs or terrorist plot surfaces here in
the US, it is important to realize that there is a doctrine underlying these
actions.
(The Center for Security Policy has made available, free of charge, the
definitive work on the subject of Shariah and Jihad on its web site: To Our
Great Detriment: Ignoring What Extremists Say About Jihad ).
Stealth Jihad: The Civilizational Threat
The threat from Shariah extends far beyond that of violent Jihad. The threat
also manifests itself in other ways. This threat is sometimes referred to with
three interchangeable terms:
• “Creeping Shariah”
• “Stealth Jihad”
• “Civilizational Jihad”
When Jihadist forces are not powerful enough to impose Shariah by force,
Shariah slowly infiltrates a target society and culture over time.
This has already occurred in much of Western Europe:
• In the United Kingdom, 85 Shariah courts operate openly with the force and
authority of common law. Originally meant to strictly settle disputes between
Muslims, 15% of the cases they hear now involve disputes with non-Muslims.
• In several nations, including Sweden and France, Muslim enclaves have
developed which are essentially autonomous zones that are ruled by Shariah law.
• In the United Kingdom and South Africa, due to the “necessity” of
accommodating Muslims into the welfare system and succession and inheritance
laws, polygamous Muslim marriages are now de facto recognized by the respective
governments.
Lest you think that this will not become a problem in the United States, think
again. Shariah is already starting to appear in our courts, especially in the
area of family law:
• You probably didn’t know that there is something called the “Texas Islamic
Court.” It decides cases according to Shariah and its rulings sometimes end up
in actual state court:
• The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), which was identified as a Muslim
Brotherhood organization and named an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest
terrorism financing conviction in US history (United States versus Holy Land
Foundation), runs arbitrations here in the US according to Shariah:
• There have been dozens of instances in which Shariah has been invoked in US
courts, mostly unsuccessfully, but not always. Here are two of the most
infamous cases, brought to our attention by Stephen Gele of Lawyers Against
Shariah:
In S.D. v. M.J.R. in the state of New Jersey, a New Jersey judge saw no evidence that a Muslim committed sexual
assault of his wife — not because he didn’t do it, but because he was acting on
his Islamic beliefs: “This court does not feel that, under the
circ***tances, that this defendant had a criminal desire to or intent to
sexually assault or to sexually contact the plaintiff when he did. The court
believes that he was operating under his belief that it is, as the husband, his
desire to have sex when and whether he wanted to, was something that was
consistent with his practices and it was something that was not prohibited.”
Fortunately, an appellate court overturned this atrocious decision, and a
Shariah ruling by a U.S. court was not allowed to stand.
In a Maryland case, Hosain v. Malik, 108 Md.App. 284, 671 A.2d 988 (Md.1996), a Maryland Court granted comity and
enforced a Pakistani custody order turning a child brought to the US by the
mother over to the father. The Maryland Court held that: the burden was on
the mother to prove the Pakistani court did not apply law in “substantial
conformity with Maryland law” by a preponderance of the evidence; the case was
“not about whether Pakistani religion, culture, or legal system is personally
offensive to us or whether we share all of the same values, mores and customs,
but rather whether the Pakistani courts applied a rule of law, evidence,or
procedure so contradictory to Maryland public policy as to undermine the
confidence in the trial”; the best interest of the child should not be
“determined based on Maryland law, i.e., American cultures and mores,” but
rather “by applying relevant Pakistani customs, culture and mores”;“a Pakistani
court could only determine the best interest of a Pakistani child by an
analysis utilizing the customs, culture, religion, and mores of … Pakistan”;
“in the Pakistani culture, the well being of the child and the child’s proper
development is thought to be facilitated by adherence to Islamic teachings”;
the Pakistani order was not the result of “a trial by fire, trial by ordeal, or
a system rooted in superstition, or witchcraft”; the “longstanding doctrine [of
Hazanit1] of one of the world’s oldest and largest religions practiced by
hundreds of millions of people around the world and in this country, as applied
as one factor in the best interest of the child test, is [not] repugnant to
Maryland public policy”; and, the granting of the order by the Pakistani Court
without representation for the mother was not repugnant to Maryland public
policy because although she may have been arrested for adultery if she returned
to Pakistan for the custody proceedings and have been subject to “public
whipping or death by stoning,” such punishments were “extremely unlikely.”
Louisiana residents may be interested in knowing that similar cases have arisen
in the Bayou State, including a child custody case with fortunately a very
different outcome from that in Maryland (again, thanks to Stephen Gele):
In Amin v. Bakhaty, 01-1967 (La.10/16/01), 798 So.2d 75, the Louisiana Supreme Court refused to enforce an Egyptian custody
order stating that: The only other forum that could possibly determine custody
would be Egypt. However, the Egyptian Court is not compelled to consider
the minor child’s best interest. [The father] would have the absolute right to
guardianship, as well as the right to physical custody. This Court believes
that a parent’s interest in a relationship with his or her child is a basic
human right. Egypt follows Islamic family law, which structures some of the rights
between family members based solely on gender. Under the Egyptian concept of
“guardianship,” the father has the absolute right to the guardianship and the
physical custody of the minor child. [The father]‘s affidavit when he
petitioned for a civil warrant confirmed this structure in Islamic law, stating
that by operation of Egyptian law, both the temporary guardianship and physical
custody of [the child] rested exclusively with him. The unique circ***tances of
this case required moreconsideration for the best interest of this child than
for the extension of comity toward the Egyptian/Islamic legal system.
American and Louisiana Laws for
Louisiana Courts
State lawmakers across America are starting to take action to prevent the US
from ending up like Western Europe, a victim of Creeping Shariah. Potential
presidential candidate and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich recently
addressed the issue in a policy speech:
Video: Newt Gingrich: Ban Sharia - It
is" totally abhorrent to the Western World"
http://thehayride.com/2010/08/louisiana-at-leading-edge-in-fight-ag...
Some of you may have heard of the upcoming ballot initiative in Oklahoma to outlaw
Shariah law. This initiative will appear on the ballot there in November.
Most people do not realize, however, that, along with Tennessee, Louisiana
already took the lead in preventing Shariah from creeping into our legal system
with a new law which has been nicknamed “American and Louisiana Laws for
Louisiana Courts.”
This law, Act 714 of the regular
Louisiana 2010 legislative session, http://www.legis.state.la.us/billdata/Authors.asp?sessionid=10RS&am...
was a collaborative effort by Rep. Ernest Wooton and Senator Danny Martiny.
Governor Bobby Jindal’s office was aware of this bill and its intent from the
earliest stages and the governor dispatched staff to appear in support of the
bill in committee:
The key passage in this important piece of legislation explains its intent and
effect:
“The legislature finds that it shall be the public policy of this state to
protect its citizens from the application
of foreign laws when the application of a foreign law will result in the
violation of a right guaranteed by the constitution of this state or of the
United States, including but not limited to due process, freedom of religion,
speech, or press, and any right of privacy or marriage as specifically defined
by the constitution of this state.”
Because Shariah is inherently violative of the basic constitutional liberties
which Americans hold dear, this law arms judges and attorneys with the tool
they need to prevent anything such as happened in Maryland and New Jersey from
happening in Louisiana.
Act 714 is now model legislation for the rest of the country and has already
been used by legislators in states from coast to coast to prepare legislation
in the 2011 legislative session.
ABOUT Muhammad
Muhammad ibn ‘Abdullāh (Arabic: ﷴ; Transliteration: Muḥammad;
pronounced [mʊˈħæmmæd] ; also spelled Muhammed or Mohammed)[3][4][5] (ca. 570/571
Mecca[مَكَةَ ]/[
مَكَهْ ] – June 8, 632),[6] was the
founder of the religion of Islam [ إِسْلامْ
] and is regarded by Muslims as a messenger and prophet of God (Arabic: الله Allāh), the greatest law-bearer in a
series of Islamic
prophets and by most Muslims the last prophet as
taught by the Qur'an 33:40–40. Muslims thus consider him the restorer of an uncorrupted
original monotheistic faith (islām) of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and other
prophets.[7][8][9] He was also
active as a diplomat, merchant, philosopher, orator, legislator, reformer, military general,
and, according to Muslim belief, an agent of divine action.. In Michael
H. Hart's The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History, Muhammad is described as the most influential person in
history. Hart asserted that Muhammad was "supremely successful" in
both the religious and secular realms.
Born in 570 in the Arabian city of Mecca, he was orphaned at an early
age and brought up under the care of his uncle Abu Talib.
He later worked mostly as a merchant, as well as a shepherd, and was first
married by age 25. Discontented with life in Mecca, he retreated to a cave in
the surrounding mountains for meditation and reflection. According to Islamic beliefs it was here,
at age 40, in the month of Ramadan, where he received his first revelation from God. Three years after this event Muhammad started preaching these revelations publicly, proclaiming that "God is One", that complete "surrender" to Him (lit. islām) is the only way (dīn) acceptable to God, and that he himself was a prophet and
messenger of God, in the same vein as other Islamic prophets.
Muhammad gained few followers early on, and was met with hostility from some Meccan tribes; he and his followers were treated harshly. To escape
persecution, Muhammad sent some of his followers to Abyssinia before he and his remaining followers in Mecca migrated to
Medina (then known as Yathrib) in the year 622. This event, the Hijra, marks the beginning of the Islamic
calendar, which is also known as the Hijri
Calendar. In Medina, Muhammad united the conflicting tribes, and after eight
years of fighting with the Meccan tribes, his followers, who by then had grown
to 10,000, conquered Mecca. In
632, a few months after returning to Medina from his Farewell pilgrimage,
Muhammad fell ill and died. By the time of his death, most of the Arabian
Peninsula had converted to Islam;
and he united the tribes of Arabia into a
single Muslim
religious polity.
The revelations (or Ayat, lit. "Signs of God") — which Muhammad reported receiving until his death
— form the verses of the Qur'an, regarded by Muslims as the
“Word of God” and around which the religion is based. Besides the Qur'an,
Muhammad’s life (sira) and traditions (sunnah) are also upheld by Muslims. They discuss Muhammad and
other prophets of Islam with
reverence, adding the phrase peace be upon him whenever their names are mentioned. While conceptions of
Muhammad in medieval Christendom and premodern times were largely
negative, appraisals in modern
history have been far less so. His life and deeds
have been debated and criticized by followers and opponents over the centuries. He is revered as a true
prophet and Manifestation of God
in the Baha'i Faith.

Wedo not apologize to anyone
who may be offended by the history of the founder of Islam (Muhammad) below. We are aware of the sensitivities
involved. However, infinitely more damage has been done to Islam's
"believers" by Islam's history of withholding the truth about its
founder to them -- - and the circumstances surrounding its inception --
than any "damage" this true history below can cause. What Muhammad produced in the Qur'an is simply a book of
gibberish consisting of later evil verses abrogating (superseding) earlier
peaceful verses. These verses in Arabic poetically "tickle" the
ears of Arab listeners. Islam
is a caustic blend of paganism and twisted Bible stories. Muhammad, its
lone "prophet", who made no prophecies, conceived his religion to
satiate his lust for power, sex, and money. He was a terrorist. And if you
think these conclusions are shocking, wait until you see the evidence mostly
from Islamic historians below. The Sirat Rasul Allah
was written by Ibn Ishaq in 750 A.D. He died in 773 A.D. It was edited and abridged by Abd al-Malik
ibn Hisham in 828 A.D. and translated by
Alfred Guillaume under the title, The Life of Muhammad in 1955 by
Oxford Press. Abd al-Malik ibn Hisham's "Life of Muhammad" relied
on the earlier works. Ulmar al-Waqidi of Medina, who died in 825 A.D.
produced a work, which portions of which have survived, called "The
Expeditions of Muhammad". The History of al-Tabari was
written by Abu Muhammad bin al-Tabari between 870 and 920 A.D. His monumental
work was translated and published in 1987 through 1997 by the State
University of New York Press. Make sure you study I, II, VI, VII, VIII, and
IX. Al-Bukhari's Hadith, titled: Sahih Al-Bukhari and The True
Traditions which was collected by Imam Bukhari in 850 A.D. Be sure to use
the collector's original nomenclature because the only printed English
translation (Publisher-Maktaba Dar-us-Salam, Translator-Muhammad Khan) was
abridged and erroneously numbered. Finally, I recommend that you acquire at
least three of the following Qur'an translations: Ahmed Ali, Pikthal, Noble
by Muhsin Khan, Yusuf Ali, or Shakir. The oldest Qur'an fragments date to
around 725 A.D. - a century after they were first recited. The main intent of this article
is to warn Christians who may be "fooled" into Islam, because they
did not have all the facts. It is a matter of grave concern. If
you reject Jesus and the salvation He made possible -- and follow Islam, your
entire salvation (where you will spend eternity) is at stake. Islam
can deceive you. It can fool the very elect. It rejects the
salvation Jesus has made possible. Islam spreads the lie that Jesus
never even died on a cross. That alone makes it demonic. This
document also exists as a reference document to get out the truth which
Muslims are never allowed to see. Of all the holy books in the world,
Satan has taken pains to ensure that Muhammad and his Qur'an defiantly stand
in diametrical opposition to Jesus, the Son of God, the true Prince of Peace
- and his New Testament. The immortal souls of billions
of individuals are involved here. To good Muslims I say;
"I have sympathy with your having to grow up in a closed society --
where not embracing Islam would have gotten you shunned or even
killed". According to many interpretations of the Qur'an
(aka: Koran), conversion to a faith other than Islam is punishable by
death. Like Satan's slavery, Islam maintains a choke hold on its
followers. This sorrowful situation most Muslims are born into should
arouse compassion and not scorn, from the followers of the Christ. Jesus never said a true prophet
would appear in the last days. Rather, He said false prophets would arise who
would deceive, if possible, the very elect. One Must be a Christian to be
Saved! References for this is found in John 14:6; Acts 4:12, and
26:28; 1 Peter 4:16. One cannot be a Christian without verbally confessing
the deity of Jesus the Christ. One cannot even pray to God, let alone have
sins remitted by Him, without approaching Him through Jesus (John 14:6 and
13, 15:16; 16:23-24; Romans 5:2, and Ephesians 2:18). I know Muslims and
Mormons, Christian Scientists and Seventh Day Adventists will not want to
hear this, but the Bible declares that Jesus was the FINAL revelation of God
to man. There have been no others. (The Quran Unveiled).
The god of Muslims is revealed
as a tyrant who demands Muslims and all others submit to him. Whereas
in the New Testament, Jesus revealed to Christians a God who is a loving
Father, who wants us to come to Him via free will. In the Old Testament
(Exodus 34:6) the real God revealed Himself as "merciful and gracious,
longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth". He is the
Creator of the Universe, the God of Love, and Lord of Life. The God of
Israel is this true God. He insists "Thou shall not kill the
innocent and just". When a Muslim declares that
Islam is a religion of peace, he/she is either ignorant of the Koran
(Qur'an), or is deceitfully thinking of this "peace", as it extends
only to those within the Muslim Community. The deceit is that they will
not tell you exactly what they mean. According to the Qur'an: "Muhammad
is the Apostle of Allah. Those who follow him are merciful to one
another, but ruthless to unbelievers" Surah 48:29.
"Kill the Mushrikun (unbelievers) wherever you find them, and capture
them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every
ambush..." Surah 9:5. Also see Surah 9:29: PICKTHAL:
"Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture
(Christians & Jews) as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid
not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the
Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought
low.". Please note that there is not a single verse in the entire
Christian Bible that contains this "open-ended", universal command
to kill/or be ruthless to unbelievers. Surah 47:4 says: Allah - the Pagan god: Islam, teaches that Jews and
Christians both have earned the wrath of Allah by failing to follow Islam,
and that they have also lost the way by following the teachings of the Torah
for the Jews, or the Bible for Christians. Additionally, This god Allah
(with a little g) lies about Jesus. Islam says that Jesus not only is
not the Son of God, but that He did not even die on a cross in Jerusalem... Allah
is therefore proven to be a false pagan god... Jews also do not believe
this about Jesus (Yeshua). Who will believe it? The greatest of
kings. Born in the humblest of places.... God, born in the flesh! The Apostle
Paul tells us that Jews have been supernaturally blinded to this by
God. Yet Christians and Jews worship the same God (Yahweh) and share
the same Bible. Learn more. See movies "The Nativity Story"
and "Jesus", here. About 578 years before Islam
came along, Christians were warned against Islam by both Jesus and the
Apostle Paul. Jesus warned us about the many false prophets who would follow
Him (Matthew 16:11-12) . Paul warned us when he wrote: Jesus also predicted the
current dilemma of Muslim intolerance and fanaticism. He warned that the day
was likewise coming when religious zealots will kill Christians and think
they are offering a service to God (John 16:2-4). Dear Christians and
Muslims. Jesus is committed to winning the spiritual Holy War. He
wants nobody to suffer an eternity without God, confined to a godless
place. Know this, that God Himself is calling out those Muslims with
good hearts! Jesus (Isa) Himself is appearing to many. A few years ago,
Al-Jazeera reported that roughly six million Muslims are leaving Islam and
becoming followers of Jesus every year in Africa. In 2005, roughly 250,000
Muslims converted to Christianity in Iran. Between 2003-2005, roughly 1
million Muslims converted to Christianity in Arab countries. Muslims are
coming to Christ in North America, too, although not to the same extent as in
Muslim countries. Tens of millions are embracing Jesus every few years
in India and in China. Chinese missionaries are now gearing up to bring
the Gospel of Jesus to dark Muslim places.
The below information on the
history of Muhammad and the history of Islam comes primarily from Muslim
historians and the Qur'an (Koran) itself... Some of these sources used are:
The
Qur'an itself calls the Gospel of Jesus "Guidance and Light"
The biggest threat to Islam is
without a doubt the teachings of the true "Prophet of Peace" Jesus
Christ. Islamic leaders go to extraordinary means to hide the
Gospel of Jesus from Muslims. The fact that Muslims do not
read and study the New Testament / the Gospel of Jesus is yet another
contradiction in Islam. Question the "dark side" - the
Islamic Fear of Christianity. Just as Satan wails at a crucifix at an
exorcism - the Islamic cult member normally wails at the sight of the Christian Bible. A false
prophet can always be recognized, because he attacks the true prophet. A
false Bible can be recognized, because it contradicts the true Bible. Islam goes one step
further. First Islam tries to gain acceptance by attesting to the truth
and validity of both the Christian and Jewish holy books. But, it then
clearly steps out of the light, exposing itself to its diabolical agenda, by
contradicting and falsifying the facts and teachings in both these
books. Also, question the "dark side" of a Religion such as
Islam that requires you to only recite salah and prayers like the Namaz,
in a language (Arabic) you do not understand. All Muslims, Arab and
non-Arab alike, are obliged to pray in Arabic. Even if you do not
understand a single word. Muslims are also required to read the Qur'an
in Arabic, in order to attain any graces at all from Allah. It is not
necessary that the person can understand even a word of what he is
reading. This is what the warning means that Jesus left us with, when
he said; "insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the
very elect." Most Muslims do repetitive prayers in a
language (Arabic) which they do not understand. The mandatory recital -
The Shahadah: Ash hadu ala ilah ha ilahlah wa ash hadu anna Muhammadah
Rasullulah. Translated, it says; "I testify that there is no god
but allah and I testify that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah."
See a graphic example of the
Christian idea of Jesus as our mediator and one with the Father (same light and
substance) in this true Near Death Experience here Islam claims that Allah is the
same God who was revealed in the Bible. . . . then if the Bible and the
Qur'an have differing views of God, then Islam's claim is false. Don't
forget that Muhammad claimed in Suras 2:87, 29:46, 32:23, 5:44, 6:154, 6:155
that Allah confirmed the Torah (Taurat) and Christian Gospel (Injeel) (Surah
2:87, 5:46, 5:68, 29:46 and 43:63). So, if the Torah and Gospel are
correct, all the errors in the Qur'an shown below make the Qur'an false.
Islam says that
Jesus did not die. So, again --Islam has proven to be false; because
Muhammad claimed the Gospel is true, and all 4 Gospels (Injil) testify that
Jesus died and rose from the dead. God does have a begotten Son (not
made, but one with the Father), which Islam denies. The Jewish Torah /
Taurat (Tawrat) clearly indicated this over 1000 years before Muhammad and
Islam. In addition their are collateral 1st century sources that
testify that Jesus was put to death. In the "Annals" written by Roman historian Tacitus, in Book XV,
Chapter 44 we read "Christus, the founder of the name, was put to
death by Pontius Pilate, procurator of Judea in the reign of
Tiberius." Roman historian Josephus also wrote about the death
and Resurrection of Jesus. Even Satan says that Jesus died on
the cross. Also, the Roman Historian Seutonius wrote in his work
"Life of the Emperor Claudius" the following about Christians:
"and deny the gods of Greece, and worship the crucified sage, and
live after his laws." The Roman historian Pliny wrote about
Jesus' death in Book X of his Epistles. Julius Africanus, quoting
Thallus another Roman historian, who wrote in about 52 A.D. about the
miraculas happenings the day the Son of God was killed. He wrote:
"On the whole world there pressed a most fearful darkness; and the
rocks were rent by an earthquake, and many places in Judea and other
districts were thrown down". Like Muhammad, Satan also cringes in
fear at the sight of the cross. Read this true Exorcism here
Even after Allah
confirmed the Torah and Gospel, Islamic Mullahs and Imams have tried to sell
the lie that the Christian Gospels and Jewish Torah have been
corrupted. This a complete
lie! This lie is perpetuated by Islam, because of all the historic,
scientific, and simple mathematical errors in the Koran/Qur'an - as you'll
see below... The Qur'an just doesn't add up. There are four more
"safeguards" for the integrity of the Bible. (1) Jesus
Himself read from Isaiah scroll in a Synagogue in Nazareth and declared it as
Scripture (inspired from God), Luke 4:16-21; (2) The Dead Sea scrolls, found
in 1947, verified the Jewish Torah back to 100 AD to 200 BC, when they were
copied. Prior to this discovery, the oldest Torah dated to the 9th
century AD. The Dead Sea scroll of Isaiah verified almost exactly the
Isaiah scroll copied in the 9th century; (3) Early Church Fathers like Ignatius,
Clement of Rome, Clement of Alexandria, Tertullian, Irenaeus, who wrote from
between 90-160 AD all cited in their writings Christian Gospel accounts
(Guthrie, 1990, page 24); (4) We know that the writings of Moses were
preserved as far back as 621 BC. 2 Kings 22 speaks of this at the time
of the Israeli King Josiah. Ezra 7:14, Nehemiah 8:1-18, and Jeremiah 36
also speaks of the Jews maintaining Scripture. Some versions of the Bible from
1881 differ in a few words here and there. However, the essential theological
points remain the same and are complete. Bibles we recommend, that have
not changed are:
The Christian Bible predates
Muhammad and Islam by more than 575 years. The Jewish Torah predates Muhammad
and Islam by 1,000 - 3,000 years. Muhammad said for Muslims to read the
Bible for "Guidance and Light." For Islam to say they are
corrupted, then is to call Muhammad a liar for recommending it. Everything in the
Christian/Jewish Bible is being authenticated by archeology. Consider
the Babylonian cylinder inscription of Nabonidus (thought to be the last king
of Babylon) which commemorates the reconstruction of a ziggurat at Ur by
Nabonidus and records a prayer to Belshazzar (Daniel 5) his son 'the
firstborn son, the offspring of my heart'. Not only does this prove that
Belshazzar was indeed a member of the Babylonian royal family, which had long
been disputed, but it also explains why Daniel is told he could be the third
ruler (with Nabonidus and Belshazzar more or less acting as
co-regents). Also, consider the 'chariot wheels' divers found in the
Red Sea, proving the Hebrew Exodus from Egypy was real; and that the Egyptian army chasing
the Jews was drowned by God (Yahweh), just as was recorded in the Jewish
Bible.
The
uninspired Qur'an The Jewish and Christian Bibles
were written by "inspired men of God" who immediately committed
God's Word to writing. Islam doesn't even have either an original or
inspired Qur'an. The Muslim Qur'an was made up supposedly from
"memory" from those who supposedly committed the words of Muhammad
to memory, and from a few scraps found under a bed. This was originally
begun about 15-20 years after Muhammad died at his wife Ayish's home in
Medina, and he was lowered into a hole in the ground, where he remains.
The compilation was not finished until at least 150 years after Muhammad's
death. This "hearsay" argument seriously brings the
credibility of the Qur'an into question. But, that's only the
beginning. All the errors, including simple mathematical and historical
errors you will see in the Qur'an below renders it impossible to be a divine
revelation. Al Bukhari, a Muslim scholar of
the 9th-10th century, and the most authoritative of the Muslim tradition
compilers, writes that whenever Muhammad fell into one of his unpredictable
trances his revelations were written on whatever was handy at the time. The
leg or thigh bones of dead animals were used, as well as palm leaves,
parchments, papers, skins, mats, stones, and bark. And when there was nothing
at hand the attempt was made by his disciples to memorize it as closely as
possible. Zaid b. Thabit said:
“The Prophet died and the Qur’an had not been assembled into a
single place.” (p.
118, Ahmad b. `Ali b. Muhammad al `Asqalani, ibn Hajar, "Fath al
Bari", 13 vols, Cairo, 1939/1348, volume 9, page 9) Zuhri reports, 'We have heard
that many Qur'an passages were revealed but that those who had memorized them
fell in the Yemama fighting. Those passages had not been written down, and
following the deaths of those who knew them, were no longer known; nor had
Abu Bakr, nor `Umar nor `Uthman as yet collected the texts of the Qur'an.
As to the Taurat (Torah),
Jewish scribes painstakingly copied it via a system of checking, double
checking and adding each letter on each line. Any attempt to change something
in the Torah would have resulted in immediate discovery and
condemnation. And copies of the Torah from around the world agree
exactly. Thousands of the Hebrew Old Testament manuscript copies
are still available for textual criticism, ranging in age from the second
century B.C. (Before Christ) to the eleventh century A.D. (After Christ).
There are no Arabic chronicles
of Islam from the first century of Islam. Many of
the earliest documents known about Islam refer to the followers of Muhammad
as "hagarenes," and the "tribe of Ishmael," in other
words as descendants of Hagar, the servant girl that the Jewish patriarch
Abraham used to father his son Ishmael. This same quality of
transmission we find regarding the Jewish and Christian bible cannot be said
of the Islamic Qur'an. The Islamic Qur'an was mostly written down from
3rd and 4th hand accounts; and from a few thoughts written on scrap papers,
palm leaves and stones --and compiled over 150 years after Muhammad died in
632 A.D. In the Mishtatu ‘lMasabih, chapter 3, we are informed that by
the command of the first Caliph, Abu Bakr, the text of the Qur’an was
“collected” by Zaid ibn Thabit “from palm leaves and stones and from the
breasts of those who had learned by heart” the various revelations." Abu
Bakr’s copy came into the possession of Hafsah, one of Muhammad’s
widows. Qustalani states that after Hafsah’s death her copy was torn to
pieces by Mirwan, who was governor of Medina. The oldest Qur'an dates from
around 790 A.D. (after Jesus), and it is in the British Library. That's 158
years after Muhammad’s death. See corrupted Qur'an here . Muslims often claim that the
manuscript of the Qur'an housed in the Topkapi Museum in Istanbul, Turkey is
one of the oldest sources. Muslims say it dates from around 650 A.D.
There is an insurmountable problem with this. This document is written in
Kufic (also known as al-Khatt al-Kufi) script. Coins in the British
Museum show that the first coins using the Kufic script date from the mid to
end of the 8th century (750-800 A.D.). The only script used during and
after Muhammad's days was the Jazm script. These earliest copies
of the Qur'an are written without vowels and diacritical dots that modern
Arabic uses to make it clear what letter is intended. In the eighth and ninth
centuries, more than a century after the death of Muhammad, Islamic commentators
added diacritical marks to clear up the ambiguities of the text.
The Samarkand (aka: Othman
Koran) manuscript in the Soviet Library in Tashkent, Uzbekistan also uses the
Kufic script, indicating late 8th century. Many believe it is the
oldest in existence. Only About one-third of the original survives.
This Samarkand codice
manuscript is considerably incomplete. It only begins in the middle of verse
7 of Suratul-Baqarah (the second Surah) and from there on numerous pages are
missing. The next oldest Muslim manuscripts are also from the
8th-century. One is written in al-ma'il script and the other in
Kufic. Neither of these correspond precisely to today's Qur'an.
Also, in 1972, construction workers who were restoring the Great Mosque of
Sana'a in Yemen found a cache of manuscripts scraps that differ and
contradict today's Qur'an so badly, that Muslims try to hide this. These
Yemeni Qur'an manuscripts date back to the 7th and 8th centures, and are
actually the oldest found, and they are in Hijazi. Hijazi
(Makkan or Madinan) script, is the script in which the earliest masahif
of the Qur'an were written. These manuscripts calls to question whether
the present Qur'an was delivered to Muslims in pristine form. Your
guess is as good as mine as to who in addition to Muhammad made up the
Qur'an. Other than a few incorrect
references to the patriarchs and Moses, the Qur’an is primarily centered on
the period of time Muhammad himself lived in, including Muhammad's many
military attacks on innocent caravans and Arabian villages. This seems
to be hardly compatible with a holy revelation of God. Considering the
complete absence of external and internal evidence that should effectively
verify the revelatory character of the Qur'an, we find it very hard, if not
impossible, to accept the Qur'an as a Message sent by God. This is
particularly so, because the Qur'an contradicts earlier revelation, the
evidence for the origin of which is given in Qur'an/Koran Suras below. Ask a Muslim, by whom, and when
were the Christian and Jewish Scriptures corrupted? You will get a
blank stare. Muslims only know is that this lie has been
"drilled" into them since childhood.
Many Muslims Imams and Mullahs
falsely point to Surah 2:140 to try and prove that Jews and Christians had
corrupted their Scriptures. Referring to the Jews, this Surah says;
"...who is more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have
from Allah?...?" Yet, nowhere does this Surah state that the Jews
and Christians corrupted their scriptures. Muslim clerics need to point
to something because they know that the Jewish Torah and Christian Gospels
badly contradict the Islamic Qur'an. The fact that Muhammad and Allah
told Muslims to believe in the Torah and Christian Gospels is a very bad
dilemma for these professionals who wish to continue making a good living in
Islam. Suras 6:34, 6:115, 10:64 and
50:28,29 clearly says to Muslims, "No change can there be in the words
of Allah" and that Allah cannot alter (or abrogate) his words."
So the Torah and Christian Gospels are correct, because Allah did verify
this fact -- this clearly makes the Muslim Qur'an false; because it
contradicts Allah. As you can see from these
verses below in the Qur'an (Koran), the Gospel of Jesus and the Jewish
Torah are the divine Word of Allah, and Muhammad commanded the reading of
the Holy Injil (Gospel of Jesus) and the Torah (Taurat) as part of
Islam.

yourself from that tyrannical yoke of living in a false religion which came
about to glue together a group of robbers, murderers and opportunists. Your first step towards eternal
salvation is no harder than to invite the only begotten Son of God into
your heart as your Lord, Savior, and the one who has already paid for your
sins Himself. ON THE LORDSHIP / SONSHIP OF
JESUS Is it possible that the Muslim
Qur'an is nothing more than an entire book of Satanic lies & verses that
"tickle Arab ears"? Let's examine this closer. Muhammad posed as an apostle of
God. Yet his life is filled with lustfulness (12 marriages and sex with a
child, slaves and concubines), rapes, warfare, conquests, and unmerciful
butcheries. The infinitely good, just and all holy God of the Bible simply
cannot tolerate anything in the least unjust or sinful. Yet He cared enough
for us sinners to mercifully take our sins upon Himself. It is revealing that
this "Allah", never tries to change Muhammad's sinfulness or life
style. Below is taken from "Islam Reviewed"
by M. Ali: Islam opposes the cardinal
teachings of Christianity such as the sonship of Christ, the fatherhood of
God and the death of Jesus Christ. Because of these opposing doctrinal views,
the need to review Islam is critical to those who hunger for truth. The
teachings on the person of Christ determine the genuineness or falsity of any
religion. Without Christ, all religions could be right. "For God so loved the
world that he gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16) The Al Aqsa Mosque was
constructed around A.D. 709 to serve as a shrine near another shrine, the
Dome of the Rock, which was built by an Islamic caliph.
ISLAM, LIKE SATAN - WANTS ONLY
SLAVES.... Most Muslims do not realize
that Islam allows no freedom. This alone should make them realize
that it is Satan behind Islam, and not an eternal God. Satan
wishes only to enslave Muslims to help him enslave the entire world. He
does this by turning them away from the truth -- that salvation is yours
already, if you only have faith in God's Son, Jesus. Islam is a
religion based on intimidation and fear. The word "Islam"
does not mean "peace." Muslims who tell you that the word
“Islam” means “peace” are lying to you. The word "Islam" is an
Arabic word. The word for peace in Arabic is “solh,” and not Islam. Islam is
derived from the root word “taslim,” which means submission or
surrender. A Muslim is not allowed to leave Islam or else risk his or
her life. At birth, a person is branded either Muslim or non-Muslim depending
on one's descent. Among other things, the
religion of Islam is a brain-washing religion, and that is why so many
Muslims turn into crazy mindless zombies. The Muslims are required to pray 5
times a day in Arabic to a God who is not there, from the moment they embrace
Islam; and when they do so they touch their head to the floor. That is one
reason they get so brain-washed, this repetitive prayer. You can often spot
fanatical Muslims by the marks on their foreheads resulting from this
repetitive touching their head to the floor, where they may whack their head
if they really get into it. As an example, take a look at the below
image (and all others released) of Osama's Al Qaida second in command, Dr.
Ayman al-Zawahiri, who always gives an anti-U.S. rant; Dr. Ayman has this
tell-tale bruise on his forehead from too much head-whacking. If you are a Muslim, and not
praying the mandatory 5 times a day (in Arabic), which must be preceded
by the ritual washing/ablution (Wudu) , according to Muhammad you are in
great danger of going to hell. Muslims may be excused from
observing the other pillars of Islam like fasting, almsgiving, pilgrimage to
Mecca. But, no Muslim is ever excused from mandatory 5 times a
day prayer. In Christianity there is no compulsion or mandatory
prayer. The Lord God has given Christians free will. Christians
know they are to honor God every day, and not just on a Sunday. Muslims
should count their "blessings". During Muhammad's fanciful
mystical Night Journey to Heaven, Muhammad said that he was originally told
by Allah to command his followers to pray fifty times daily, but later Allah
revealed this to be too much of a burden. What Muhammad probably meant
was he soon found out that even he couldn't keep up with fifty mandatory
prayer sessions a day. So like many Sura's you'll see below,
miraculously a Surah appeared to help Muhammad out in his personal life. In Christianity, there is no
such compulsion. Yahweh wants heartfelt prayers. Not scripted
prayers. Christians know enough to speak with God as their
"Abba" (literally - daddy in Aramaic). Muslims typically
never even think of one-on-one, two-way prayers to God. Muslim prayers
resemble a "broadcast"; and no reply from their Allah is usually
ever expected. Jesus told us: "But when
ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen (pagans) do: for they think
that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like
unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask
him." Matthew 6:7 - 8
Another example of this
mindless zombie behavior you see in Muslims is the Shiite Muslim
"holiday" of Ashoura, commemorating the death of Muhammad's
grandson Husayn. Some Shiite Muslims stab themselves in the head on this
"holiday", making a cut on their heads and beating the wound so it
keeps bleeding. And the "bleeders" then walk around in groups
yelling. And the cruelest and worst practice of Muslims is their practice of
genital cutting (aka: FGC, Female Genital Cutting), genital mutilation, of
young girls in Muslim countries. It has been estimated that
approximately 2 million infants, young girls, and women are subjected to this
painful and needless practice each year worldwide. FGC is typically done
without anesthesia or antibiotics.
A symptom of enslavement: Islamic law encourages Muslims
to proselytize (convert others). Islam, however, clearly forbids others
to proselytize to Muslims. This is because hearing the truth as
revealed in the Christian Bible would weaken this false path to God
(Islam). BUT, WHAT ABOUT THE CRUSADES -
YOU MAY BE ASKING: Every Christian who
participated in the Crusades, did so, against the teachings of Jesus. The Crusades were a reaction to
the Muslim crusades against the entire world. In AD 1009, Kalif Hakem of
Egypt ordered the destruction of the Holy Sepulcher and all Christian places
of worship in Jerusalem. Christians were persecuted cruelly and pilgrims were
attacked. Here is a speech from Pope
Urban II to Christians from this Crusader era:
SPAIN UNDER THE MOORS CARNAGE IN CONSTANTINOPLE In 1860 over 12,000 Christians
were slaughtered in Lebanon. In 1876 14,700 Bulgarians were murdered by the
Turks. 200,000 Armenian Christians were slaughtered by the Turks in Bayazid
in 1877. And in 1915 the Turks massacred over 1.5 million Armenian
Christians. As recently as September 1922 the Turkish army destroyed the
ancient city of Smyrna with its 300,000 Christian population. About Muhammad himself:
Much is known about the life of
Muhammad. In 1851, the French scholar Ernest Renan wrote that Muhammad
lived "in the full light of history." Muhammad's first
biographer was Muhammad Ibn Ishag (704-773 A.D.) who wrote "Sirat Rasul
Allah", a work which has not survived. No finished biography
of Muhammad appeared until 150 years after his death in Arabia. According to tradition, Muhammad
was born in Mecca on April 20, 570 A.D. Shi'ites say he was born on
April 26th. His full name was Muhammad Bin-Abdullah. At the time
Muhammad was born Muhammad's father was the chief of the pagan worshipping
tribe of Koreish. Muhammad's father was ‘Abd
Allāh ibn ‘Abd al-Muttalib, of the family of Hashim (Shaiba
ibn Hashim). ‘Abd Allāh" means
"slave of Allah". His father died soon after his son's
birth--while he was out on a trading expedition. His father was the youngest
son of Abdul Muttalib and the great-grandson of Kussai. Muhammad was
orphaned early in his life after his mother Amina died and was raised by his
grandfather Abdul Muttalib, then chief of the Quraysh (Koreish) tribe, and
his uncle Abu-Talib beginning at age 6. Earlier, at about 5 years old
while in the care of a Bedouin nurse named Halima Muhammad became subject to
epileptic fits. The branch of the Quraysh tribe Muhammad belonged to was
known as the Beni Hashem. At the age of nine the boy
Muhammad mounted a camel and went on a merchandising expedition into
Syria. It was while with his grandfather and uncle that Muhammad
learned learned to be lordly, and to exercise power, to fast, and to pray at
certain specified times of the day. The Quraysh tribe prayed to
idols at sunrise, noon, and at sunset; and they faced the direction of the
idol black stone and the Kaaba. While away from Arabia he saw
the sacred places of the Jews. He stood on the spot where the King of Salem
came out and did obeisance to Abraham. He was shown the place where his great
mother, the bondwoman Hagar, went forth leading Ishmael by the hand. He saw
Damascus, city of the desert, and Sinai, the mountain of the law. Then he
returned to Mecca full of visions and dreams. His teen years were as a
shepherd and an attendant of caravans. At the age of 20 Muhammad was
hired by a wealthy woman named Khadija (or Khadeejah) to manage her late
husband's caravan business. When Muhammad was 25 he married Khadija;
six children were born to them, but only one survived to adulthood; his
beloved daughter Fatima. While in the caravan business Muhammad
happened to make many journeys to Syria and Palestine. During this time
Muhammad became acquainted with both Jews and Christians. Later, the
monk-like Muhammad would cause things to be written in the Koran about both
Jewish and Christian history, which shows that Muhammad did not possess an
intellect befitting a historian. It has also been thought that Muhammad
could not read or write. In fact, the Qur'an says Muhammad was illiterate
(Ummi) in Surah 7:157. These Qur'an (Koran) entries you will see below
are marred with gross errors and inattention to detail. This marriage
to the much older Khadija, who was then 40 years old and who already had been
married twice proved very fortunate to Muhammad. Muhammad suddenly
became equal to the richest men in Mecca. While married to Khadija
Muhammad did not marry any other wife. However, after she died,
Muhammad would show no restraint in his self gratification for lust with
multiple wives, slaves, captives, and even his own adoptive son Zaid's
wife. Khadija gave Muhammad two sons, both of whom died young.
They both also had 4 daughters together. Their names were Rockeya,
Kolthum, Zeinale, and Fatima. In his older age, Muhammad used to color his
hair red to hide his gray hair. He is said to have had a large hairy egg
sized mole under his left shoulder. Not being able to find any prophecy
of Muhammad's coming in the Bible - many foolish Arabs have tried to 'tie'
this hairy mole into Isaiah 9, where it is written, "the government
shall be upon his shoulder".
Greatest False Teachings in the
Qur'an: - The New Testament repeatedly
declares that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He was crucified and
resurrected to both pay for our sins and to make possible our salvation, but
the Qur'an expressly denies all these things. The Qur'an says Jesus was
not crucified. (Surah 4:157-158). The sacrificial death of Jesus Christ
as an atonement for our sins was a stumbling block to Muhammad.
Muhammad said that only one in his likeness was crucified. This clearly
contradicts all 4 Gospels (Injil) which Muhammad confirmed in the as the
revealed word of God in the Qur'an itself. Islam is actually guilty of
upholding the cause of Satan himself, who argued from the very beginning that
man is entitled to disregard the known will of God as Satan had done.
Satan lies that man could disregard God's will without incurring the penalty
of death. But God cared enough about our sinful guilty human race to
endure our punishment for us Himself, in the person of Jesus of Nazareth,
whose perfect atoning sacrifice saved every repentant, believing
sinner. To think that one can have eternal Life without someone like
Jesus "paying our price" for our sin is to mistakenly believe that
God can righteously forgive without requiring any atonement at all. This
makes God Himself a protector of sin rather than its avenger. If you accept Islam, you
forever reject Jesus and His substitut suffering and death for your sins on
the cross. It is a decision that will effect where you spend eternity. The New Testament was written
by people who walked with Jesus. Muhammad only heard about Jesus
(called Isa in the Qur'an) over five centuries later, and even what he heard
he seems to have gotten confused. Jesus was not merely a Prophet Christians need to remember,
Jesus Christ warned us that if you deny Him, He will deny you before the
Father. Muslims falsely believe they have "this base"
covered because they show reverence to Jesus as a "great Prophet"
only. Surah
3.45: When the angels said: O Marium, surely Allah
gives you good news with a Word from Him (of one) whose name is the '.
Messiah, Isa (Jesus) son of Marium, worthy of regard in this world and the
hereafter and of those who are made near (to Allah). You "deny" Jesus when
you do not follow His teachings, such as He is the only way to the Father and
salvation. You deny Jesus when you do not make Him the center of your
life. Jesus of Nazareth is the Jewish Messiah foretold thousands of
years before His arrival (see here) by numerous Prophets of God. Jesus led a sinless
life. And only Jesus, the Son of the Father is the awaited Christ and mediator between you and the Father.
NEWS: Miracles in
Iran Islamic Satanic Lies Islam is built on subtle lies
which have been concocted by evil men in order to maintain cohesion and
discipline within their robber band. Islam is the only religion that
says that Jesus did not die on the cross. Islam denies this historical
fact about Jesus which therefore negates the salvation given us by the
Son of God's painful death and miraculous resurrection from the dead.
Even the Jewish Sanhedrin (High Religious Court) in Jerusalem admits Jesus
died there. In addition to the writers of the 4-Gospels and
Josephus, the Jewish 1st century historian (See Antiquities
18-63) -- the Jewish Babylonian Talmud (Sanhedrin
43a) from the Tannaitic Period recorded: "On the eve of the Passover
Yeshu [the Nazarene] was hanged".... This means on a wooden cross. The Miracle Surrounding the
Death of Jesus Also, A pagan historian by the
name of Thallus, who lived shortly after the resurrection of Christ
(about A.D. 52) wrote concerning a miraculous darkness that covered the earth
at the Passover of A.D. 32 and attempted to explain it as an eclipse of the
sun. Islam claims to be a religion
of the people of "The Book", or Ahel al-Kitab, which would
have one believe it is a continuance of that Book God revealed to His Jewish
Prophets. If it were, it would not deny what is in that
"Book", especially after confirming the authority of the Jewish
Torah and Christian Gospels. If Islam was true, Muslims would know the name
of the true God is not Allah, but Yahweh. See more about
Mohammed found in the Bible Codes here. These matrixes say: "Mohammed Profanes My
Holy Name" and "Mohammed, Blaspheming, Demon".

Christians were told in the
Bible to be on-guard and that the Antichrist will not only just be a man who
appears shortly before the Lord Jesus returns, but also a movement (Islam)
which denies that Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God. Islam is adamant
in its denial of the deity of Jesus. It is easy to overlook, but
followers of Islam place their eternal salvation entirely on the whimsical
sayings of only one single man - the imperfect and violent man
Muhammad. Christianity and Judaism is
heavily corroborated by many different prophets and apostles of God.
Additionally, Christianity and Judaism abound with many, many miracles, all
witnessed by throngs of people. Physical evidence such as 5,300
original manuscripts confirming the New Testament (Injeel) are still here to
read. The fact of the matter is; not
one individual or document can corroborate Muhammad's testimony. As prophecies go, Muhammad
simply made none! An Apostle of God must prove
his mission by working miracles. The life of Jesus on earth
abounded with astounding miracles. The Qur'an itself declares in Surah
5:110 that Jesus performed miracles. Forget what's in the made up
Hadiths; the Qur'an itself admits twice that Muhammad said he could do no
miracles (Suras 13:7 and Surah 17:90-94 ). Jesus makes it quite clear that
miracles are necessary to prove what one speaks is of divine origin.
Jesus said; "If I had not done among them the works which none other man
did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and
my Father." (John 15:24). Jesus made the deaf hear, the lame walk,
the blind see, the dumb speak. He multiplied 5 loaves of bread to feed
5000 people, and he cured lepers and many other diseased people, and raised
the dead with his word only. One woman was cured by just touching
Jesus' garment. Jesus walked on water, caste out demon spirits, raised
his own self from the dead, and finally rose to heaven in front of many
witnesses. The ability to confirm one's oral proclamation with
supernatural acts is what sets the genuine apart from the counterfeit (The
Quran Unveiled, page 216). The so-called
"Prophet" of Islam lived an extremely sinful life of raping,
plundering and murdering for profit. His entire purpose for the Qur'an
(Koran) was simply to increase his personal self esteem, attain superior
status, and for maintaining discipline and cohesion within his robber
band. An Apostle of God must be a good and righteous man as
Jesus was and Muhammad was not. Muhammad's inability to perform
even a single miracle to prove his connection with divinity forced him to
establish his own credibility in the Qur'an, by numerous threats to obey him,
and so-called revelations calling on Muslims to venerate him. 201 times in
the Qur'an Muhammad had the need to make sure everyone knows that he is
"Allah's Messenger". Typical of Muhammad's threats in the
Qur'an is this in Surah 33:57: "Those who annoy Allah and His Apostle -
Allah has cursed them in this World and in the Hereafter, and has prepared
for them a humiliating Punishment." Note: John the Baptist's main
role was not as a prophet, but as a forerunner. Muhammad had a diabolical
aversion to the form of the cross. Symptomatic of the state of
Muhammad's soul during his lifetime is the strikingly similar behavior
regarding the cross that demons have demonstrated over and over. According to Al Waqidi,
Muhammad would break everything brought into the house with a shape of the
cross on it. Additionally, Ahmad ibn Hanbal (A.D. 855) said that
Muhammad would foam at the mouth during prayer. Christians should
immediately remember the Apostle Mark's telling of Jesus casting a demon out
of a boy who was possessed. This demon-possessed boy also showed this symptom
of "foaming at the mouth". More than eight hundred million
human beings confess Islam, the religion Muhammad founded. There is no more
militant movement on earth equal to Islam. No religion teaches hatred
more than Islam. Jesus said; "many false prophets will rise up and
deceive man." Islam has managed to turn billions of people away
from the true Word of God, and not merely by its distraction of the truth.
But also by its outright denial of the truth.
Jesus Never Spoke of
Another true Prophet to Follow Him The Comforter Muslims often deliberately
claim that Jesus spoke of Muhammad as that prophet who would follow him, or
that Muhammad was the "Comforter" Jesus promised would come.
The references Muslims vainly cling to about this are mentions of a comforter
to follow Jesus in John chapters 14, 15, and 16. Both of these are more
Islamic lies. Jesus did warn us that false prophets (Muhammad) with
false Gospels (Qur'an) would follow Him, and try to deceive many. The Comforter Jesus spoke of
was the Holy Spirit who filled the Apostles while they gathered together on
Pentecost. While gathered together they all began speaking in foreign
tongues. The Comforter/Holy Spirit/Ruach HaKodesh also imparted the
ways of God on Mary, the Apostles of Jesus, and about 120 other Disciples
that day. Three thousand came into the Church that same day. Jesus'
followers then immediately took Him seriously and they went out and began
preaching the Gospel. The
Comforter was NOT Muhammad. In John 14:26 the comforter is specifically
identified as the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in the name of Jesus
Christ. There is no mention of any Allah, Muhammad, or any prophet to follow
Jesus in any Christian or Jewish Holy Books. Jesus told us, there would only
be one more revelation of truth that would come after Him. John 14:17, 16:7
& 13 tell us that Jesus said a "Spirit of Truth" (not a man - a
Spirit), the Comforter would come after He Himself departed. This Comforter was
to guide us "into all truth". So there would then be no truth
remaining which would be sealed or hidden. Christians know this
"Comforter" as the third person of the triune God, or the
"Holy Spirit".
